教学过程
1. Warm-up(热身及预习展示)
(1)开火车:复习日期表达法,如:Jan. lst,Feb. 2nd,Mar. 3rd,Apr. 4th,May 5th…
(2)活动:话说节日。
以问答的形式来盘点各月份的节日以及节日的具体时间。先由教师和学生示范。
T: What's your favorite holiday?
S1: New Year’s Day.
T: When is New Year’s Day?
S1: It’s on January lst.
(3)活动:看图联想节日
活动方式:教师出示以下场景,如:复活节兔子、升国旗、儿童在公园玩耍、放鞭炮等,要求学生看图抢答具体的节日。猜对后,全班进行问答练习。如:When is…Day? It's on…
2. Presentation and practice(精讲点拨)
(1)Let's try
请学生看图和题目要求,猜一猜录音内容。然后教师播放录音,学生完成听音选月份的练习。
(2)Let's talk
教师询问学生:What day is it today? 和What month is this?,学生回答后,教师出示5月份的日历说:It's May now. There are some special days in May.
然后自问自答:What are they? The school art show and the reading festival..
然后请学生重复The school art show and the reading festival.数遍,教师继续说:There are some special days in May. What are they? Please tell me.引导学生说出五月份的重要节日:May Day, Mother’s Day。最后解释special days的中文意思,并带领学生齐读句子:There are some special days in May. They are the school art show and the reading festival.They are May Day and Mother's Day.
解释in和on的用法区别。
T: The school art show is in May. The reading festival is in May,too.
The reading festival is on May 5th. The school art show is on May lst.
Can you tell me the difference between in and on?
引导学生理解“in”用在月份前,“on”用在某一天。并让学生说出May Day,Mother’s Day所在的月份和具体时间。
如:May Day is in May. May Day is on May lst.
Mother's Day is in May. Mother's Day is on the second Sunday of May.
教学It’s on….
并让学生举一反三。
如:It’s on Jan. lst.
It's on Feb. 2nd.
It’s on Mar. 3rd .
It’s on Apr. 4th.
It’s on May 5th.
教师播放Let's talk部分对话录音两遍,然后提问:When is the school art show? When is the reading festival? 学生根据对话内容回答:It’s on May lst. It’s on May 5th.
学生跟读对话,两人一组做对话练习。分角色扮演Mr. Jones和Zhang Peng。
Talk about the holidays with your partner.和你的同桌谈谈节日及节日所在的时间。如:
S1: When is China's National Day?
S2: It's on October lst.
S1: When is Children's Day?
S2:It's on June lst.
3. Consolidation and extension(拓展延伸)
活动:寻找与自己同年同月同日生的有缘人。
活动方式:教师拿着年历从一月开始问学生:Whose birthday is in January? Please stand up.当一月份出生的人站起来后,教师说:你们都是同月生的有缘人,请你们互相询问找出谁与你是同年同月同日生的好朋友。
问答如下:S1: My birthday is on January lst. When is your birthday?
S2: My birthday is on January 2nd. When is your birthday?
S3: My birthday is on January 3rd.
接着第三个问第四个,以此类推,直到找到与你同年同月同日生的有缘人为止。找到后说:We are good friends.教师总结:Let's have a birthday party after class for them.
