让学生对最近一周天气进行观察，记录下每天的天气情况，制作成表格。然后，以小组为单位，进行谈论和交流。
课前准备
教师课前需要准备录音机、磁带、教学挂图、单词卡片和有关天气情况的图片。
教学过程
1.
Warm-up.
开始讲课前，教师可以先让学生谈论一下最近一段时间本地的天气，然后让学生谈论当天的天气。在学生谈论天气时，教师可以把有关词语或句型写到黑板上或通过课件、幻灯片显示出来，以便学生在谈论时参考。
通过引导学生谈论天气，可以将学生注意力吸引到课堂教学上来，也为进行本节课的教学铺平了道路。
2.
任务1的教学：
（1）在进行上述活动的基础上，教师可出示预先准备的有关天气情况的图片，如wind,
snow,
rain等，引导和启发学生说出更多的天气情况。
（2）教师拿出Look
and
listen的教学挂图，让学生认真看。然后，放录音，让学生仔细听，看图片中的人物在谈论什么，分别提到哪两个城市的天气情况，并做好记录。（在学生听录音时，教师可以将生词和句型写在黑板上或用幻灯片显示出来，以便学生能更容易地听懂录音内容和更好地掌握句型。）
（3）教师根据图片和录音中的内容，拿出课前准备的有关天气情况的图片，问学生：What’

weather
like
引导学生用It’
s
cold/hot.句型回答。（跟学生对话与交流时，教师神态应轻松、自然，始终面向全体学生，让学生积极参与，使课堂始终保持活跃。）
（4）让学生打开书朗读Look
and
listen的内容。然后，将学生分成两人一组，根据课文中图片内容分别扮演不同角色，进行对话练习。
语言点解释

weather是不可数名词，前面不能用冠词a来修饰。例如：

任务2的教学：
（1）教师向学生展示sunny,

say的录音。
（2）在学生听懂单词的基础上，教师不按顺序读出sunny,
rain,
hot,
cold这几个单词，让学生根据先后顺序圈出对应的英语单词。
（3）教师拿出单词sunny,
rain,
hot,
cold的教学卡片，先教学生认读。然后，让学生跟读。
（4）待学生会读并认识这几个单词后，让学生相互间轮流用What’

hot.等句型进行问答对话练习。
（5）让学生对最近一周天气进行观察，记录下每天的天气情况，制作成表格。然后，以小组为单位，进行谈论和交流。
教学评析
本节课是谈论天气，教学内容以学生日常生活为背景，是学生所熟悉和喜欢的，也是学生容易接受的，更便于学生学了就用，达到“学以致用”的目的。通过本节课教学，可以使学生感受到英语就在我们身边，英语就在日常生活中。(共24张PPT)
