出示四下第一单元图片，回忆认读second，学习缩写2nd。
(3) 跟读third(3rd)
① 对比three学习th的发音，对比first, bird学习ir的发音。
② 呈现日历，描述April 3rd is on Tuesday.
(4) 跟读fourth(4th)
对比认读four，再读fourth，出现校历活动：The English test is on April 4th.
(5) 学习fifth(5th)
① 对比认读five，讲解five到fifth的变化。
② 认读Jan. 5th等词组。

趣味操练
(Practice)
1. Flashing cards
(1) 认读Jul. 4th, Jan. 3rd, Jan. 2nd, Sept. 5th, May 1st.
(2) 出示五一、六一、元旦、国庆节、愚人节等图片，要求学生快速抢答这些节日所在的具体日期，抢答成功的同学，有机会用一句话描述这些节日时间。

检测学生对四会单词的拼写掌握情况。
3. Ask and answer
出示5层楼。
(1) 先让学生认读；
(2) 随机找学生选择一层楼进入，每层楼有各自不同的类似闯关类的题。
4. 打开U4 A Let’s learn课堂基础练/拔高练，即学即练，检测当堂学习情况。
