一、整体设计思路
本课选自人教版PEP教材四年级下册第三单元Read and write。本单元学习的主题是天气,本课是一节阅读写作训练课。在授课时,我采用top-down的教学模式让学生整体感知教学内容,然后通过pre-reading, while-reading, post-reading这三个阅读步骤主次进行教学。为了帮助学生突破本课的难点、重点,根据小学生好奇、好胜、好动、模仿力强、表现欲旺盛的胜利和心理特点,在教课的过程中我主要采取了情境教学法,以活动、合作为主线,让学生在教师的指导下,通过感知、体验、实践、参与和合作、游戏感悟等多种方法并用的方式组织教学。在任务设置的时候,我设置学习有效任务帮助学生进行学习。Reading for listening, reading for writing , reading for speaking, 学生在学习文章的过程中,听、说、读、写四个方面均进行了操练。课堂任务的布置和小组活动的设计是本课的亮点,孩子们在小组活动中积极参与其中。在小组合作中进行了听说读写的综合性的学习。整节课注重发挥了学生的主体性,提高了教学效率。
二、教学背景分析
A. 教学内容分析
第一部分要求学生阅读John的爸爸写给他的一封明信片后回答问题;第二部分为有意义的句子书写活动,分为两个步骤:第一步为看图,根据图片回答问题。第二步为个性化的书写活动,先引导学生关注标点符号在四线三格中的书写规则,然后引导学生根据真实生活中的天气情况仿写句子。
B. 学生情况分析
四年级的学生已经学习了一年的英语,已经有一定的英语基础,但是掌握的单词量少,认识的句型不多。四年级的孩子生性活泼好动、爱玩、爱动、争强好胜。所以,课堂上学生们喜欢自己感兴趣的话题,喜欢与他人比赛、竞争。教师要针对自己本班学生实际来设计自己的课堂。
C. 教学目标分析
1. 能在图片的帮助下,读懂明信片中的小短文,理解新词swim、fly在语境中的意思;
2. 能够根据文段内容回答问题;能够按照意群和正确的语音语调朗读短文;
3. 能在有意义的语境中抄写单元的核心句型,并能够根据实际独立书写核心句型;能综合运用本单元的核心词句。
D. 教学重点、难点分析
教学重点:能读懂明信片中的小短文并回答文后问题;
教学难点:掌握英语句子的书写格式,能在有意义的情境中正确书写句子,表达自己的意思。
三、教学步骤
1. Preparation准备活动
(1) Enjoy it! 教师和学生一起进行课前美文诵读《Spring is coming》。
(2) Sing and do.
How is the weather? (手交叉放背后,头左右有节奏摇摆。)
How is the weather? It’s a fine day. (用右手食指画笑脸。)
How is the weather? It’s a cloudy day. (画三片云。)
How is the weather? It’s raining. (双手展开手心朝外,从上往下抖动下来。)
How is the weather? It’s snowing. (双手从上往下螺旋下来。) (twice)
(思路:这首歌节奏欢快、简单易唱、内容与本课主题相关,而且是以Flash的形式播放,画面形象卡通,学生乐于接受,并且根据歌词设计了配套的动作,通过这首歌来营造欢乐的课堂气氛,并起到复习知识的作用。)
(3) Free talk
T: How is the weather today? (歌曲结束后马上用歌词里出现过的句型来询问同学们,如果学生还不明白就改用What’s the weather like today? 让其明白这两句意思是一样的。)
Ss: It’s sunny today.
(思路:预热学过的句型,为后面课文内容的阅读做好铺垫。)
2. Pre-reading阅读前活动
(1) Brainstorm头脑风暴
教师给出天气话题,让学生说出所学表示天气的形容词。
(思路:激发学生的词汇思维。)
(2) 快闪图片,复习旧知。
利用游戏比赛模式,活跃课堂气氛。
(3) 给出Famous city图片,让学生根据内容进行询问天气的对话交流。
操练形式有:师问生答;同桌问答;男女问答;小组问答等。
(4) Weather report充当天气播报员
T: It is sunny here. Do you know what the weather in Beijing is like? Let’s go to see “the weather report”.
T: Good morning! Here is the weather report. It’s cool in Beijing. It’s warm in Shanghai. (老师先做示范,然后请同学们参与。) Who wants to be a weather reporter?
S1: Good morning! Here is the weather report. It’s sunny in Ningbo.
...
(思路:创设情景,以做天气预报员的形式让学生们在情景中复习学过的天气类单词及句型It’s ... in ... 并且加深巩固对气象图标的认识。有利于帮助学生了解和辨别在生活中碰到的气象图标。)
(5) 新授词汇学习。
A. 做动作猜活动,引出新学词组fly a kite,讲授kite一词时渗透元音字母i的开音节发音,并根据规则,启发学生拼读相同规则的单词。练习方法有:开火车;拼读比赛等。之后带入句型It’s _____. I can __________. 中练习。
B. 同上,做动作猜活动,引出新学单词swim,渗透元音字母i的闭音节发音,并根据规则,启发学生拼读相同规则的单词。练习方法有:开火车;拼读比赛等。之后带入句型It’s _____. I can __________. 中练习。
C. Let’s talk. 根据天气,学生讨论I/We can ... 进行合作学习。之后学生展示It’s _____. I can _________.
(6) Let’s chant. 和学生一起说唱儿歌。
It’s hot. It’s hot.
I can swim. I like ice-cream.

I can fly a kite.

We can make a snowman.

(思路:让学生明白不同的天气做不同的活动。并通过Chant形式来加深和强调活动,形象生动。而且Chant也是孩子们最喜闻乐见的一种教学方式,易接受,节奏感强,可以达到全体学生共同参与的目的。)
3. In-reading 阅读中活动
教师出示图片,约翰的爸爸在旅行的场景,呈现John’ s dad在Sydney旅行的图片,引出John’ s dad写给John的明信片。
T: John’s dad is traveling now. Do you know where he is?
T: John’s dad is very happy. He writes a postcard to John.
T: What’s this?
S: It is a postcard.
T: This postcard is from Dad to John.
Task 1: Read and circle
要求学生通过默读,圈出文中描写天气的词。
Task 2: Listen and repeat
1. 教师播放录音,学生听录音。
2. 要求学生指读句子。
3. 学生领读。
4. 学生齐读。
5. 同桌互读。
(思路:通过大声朗读培养朗读能力,增强语感。这里采用听音跟读、小组齐读、小组合作朗读等方式来进行。目的只是让学生模仿语音语调,增加读的语感。) Task 3: Read and answer
小组合作学习,细读并回答问题。
1. 四人小组先阅读问题。
2. 讨论问题。
3. 书写结果。
4. 小组展示。
Task 4: Look and find
学生再次观看明信片,找出明信片的书写格式,以及如何书写明信片。
Task 5: Write and say
Write a postcard to your friend to introduce the weather where you are. 按其格式给你的好朋友书写一张明信片,尤其要提到这节课所学到的天气。
要求四人小组合作学习,讨论并写出明信片内容。之后,邀请单个学生进行展示。
(思路:贴近生活,合理安排教学任务,拓展课本教学内容,在做中学。)

作业设计:

Summary:
教育源于生活,课堂教学也源于生活。所学知识越贴近学生的生活实际,学生就越感兴趣,而且越乐于主动探究,所以教师应努力创设生动和真实的语言环境,让学生在自主学习、合作学习、探究学习中逐渐形成学习英语的兴趣和爱好,形成在动态真实环境中使用英语进行活动的积极性,让生活走进课堂。在陶行知生活教育理论中,“在生活里找教育,为生活而教育”的观念相当明确,他的“社会即学校”学说,更是告诉我们“教育的材料,教育的方法,教育的工具,教育的环境,都可以大大增加”。因此,我们的教育内容必须尽可能地具有新鲜内涵,以实践陶行知先生的生活教育内容论。按照从读、写再到语言运用的教学顺序。
