一、教学目标
Knowledge and ability objectives
1. With the help of pictures and real situation, all the students can recognize, read, understand and spell these words (spring, summer, autumn/fall, winter, season)
2. Most students can do some simple conversations and describe the seasons with the sentence patterns “Spring/Summer/Autumn/Winter is ... In ..., I/We can ...”.
3. After the teacher’s guidance, students can read the poem “Wonderful seasons” with emotion.
4. With the help of the blackboard design, students can choose one of the four seasons that they like and talk about it, including season, color, weather and activity...
Emotion-attitude value objectives
1. All the students know that different seasons make life fun because of different colors, weather and activities, and love life better.
2. All the students can experience the joys of the seasons by describing. Thus, they may experience the happiness of life.
Process and methods
Students will learn four seasons by singing, presenting pictures, listening, and reading...
Students can describe the four seasons by learning a poem about seasons.
二、重难点
Most students can do some simple conversations and describe the seasons with the sentence patterns “Spring/Summer/Autumn/Winter is ... In ..., I/We can ...”.

活动1【导入】Step1: Warm up
1. Say “Hello!” to boys and girls.
2. Enjoy a song together.

活动2【讲授】Step2: Presentation
1. Guessing game: Listen and guess the seasons.
Students watch the videos about spring and summer, then guess the two seasons according to the description.
2. Guide students the pronunciation of the new words (spring and summer). Students talk about spring and summer.
3. Students read the description of autumn and winter, and then guess the rest of the seasons.
4. Teach autumn and winter, especially the pronunciation of autumn and the same meaning of it (fall).
5. Brain storm:

活动3【练习】Step3: Practice
Read the first and second parts of the poem about seasons.
Fill in the blanks of the other two parts by students themselves.
