英语课程承担着培养学生基本英语素养和发展学生思维能力的任务,依据新课标,要求小学六年级学生能借助图片、图像、手势听懂简单的话语或录音材料;能听懂课堂活动中简单的提问;能听懂常用指令和要求并做出适当的反应;能在口头表达中做到发音清楚、语调基本达意;能按要求用简单的英语做游戏,能体会到英语学习的乐趣;在学习中集中注意力;敢于开口,表达中不怕出错误;积极参与各种课堂学习活动,积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务。
2. 教材分析
这是本单元的第六课时故事教学。通过杂志上所述人类烹饪方式、地球环境以及鲸鱼古今未来变化,复习巩固并拓展本单元的核心语言。同时,补充一些跨学科的历史、生物知识。
3. 学情分析
经过将近六年的英语学习,学生英语基础较好,敢于表达,思维活跃。学生已经熟练掌握一般将来时的用法,在本节课会继续进行复习。同时根据本班学生特点及本节课所学内容,着重培养学生核心素养中的语言能力、学习能力和思维品质。
教学目标
1. 能听懂、理解、按正确的意群及语音语调朗读Story time小故事,并能复述部分故事。
2. 能在小组中提出问题、解决问题。
3. 能够在语境中感知文本意义,增强环保意识、保护动物意识。
评价任务
1. 在图片和教师的帮助下理解词组大意,并回答设立的问题;通过仿读课文及分角色朗读能用正确的语音、语调来表演课文中对话。(检测目标1、2的达成情况)
2. 通过“活动1”、“活动2”能运用重点句型。(检测目标2的达成情况)
3. 鼓励学生在小组中完成任务,增强环保意识、保护动物意识。(检测目标3的达成情况)

根据文章内容,把全班分为五大组,分别是
Cooking/Earth/Whales/Questions/Suggestions自主进行课文学习,小组内解决问题。
3. 小组展示
(1) 各组完成表格。
(2) 教师带领学生逐图进行展示,展示过程中请Questions组提问题,相应组回答问题,教师也适时进行补充。
(3) 如前三幅:Can you imagine what the future will be like?
中间三幅:How can we help the earth?
后三幅画:How can we protect whales?
在回答问题时Suggestions组也适时补充建议。
4. 分组朗读课文。
感知故事及新句子,通过小组合作完成学习任务。
