教学过程
Step1 Lead in
The teacher shows five important words by sounds and games: sunny, rainy, windy, snowy, cloudy.
Students try to say out them with the teacher’s help.
(设计意图:通过声音展示和游戏复习旧知,增加趣味性,吸引学生注意力,可以更好加深印象,旨在导入本课主题。)
Step2 Look and match
The teacher shows pictures of different weather conditions.
Let students match them with words.
(设计意图:结合图片与词汇比赛反复记忆五个英文单词。鼓励学生挑战自我朗读记忆。)
Step3 Let's chant
Show a song of weather and encourage them to chant with desk-mates.
(设计意图:自编拍手歌的练习更能有效利用课堂最后几分钟,吸引学生有意注意,达到预期效果。)
Step4 Speaking
The teacher makes a dialogue with one student about weather.
T: What is the weather like today?
S: It is sunny. Let's play football.
Students do this in group of two to practice. Two groups show their dialogues in the class.

Step5 A weather report
There is a weather report in English. Listen carefully and finish the form on the blackboard. Put your smile buttons in the right place. If necessary, the teacher can play the report once again.

Step6 Let's write
The teacher put letters on the tree and read them one by one.
The students find them and put in the basket.
Then the teacher gives a dictation of letters in both big letters and small letters.
Others see which one does it better and stand near it. The most will get a special card.
(设计意图:旨在规范认读和书写大小写字母及大小写。请学生做裁判,亲身感受评价,更能指导学生书写美观标准。)
