1. 指导思想与理论依据
遵循《英语课程标准》的基本理念:英语课程强调学习过程,重视语言学习的实践性和应用性。主张学生在语境中接触、体验和理解真实语言,并在此基础上学习和运用语言。同时还倡导教学要面向全体学生,关注语言学习者的不同特点和个体差异。
因此,在本课教学中,注重为学生创设实际生活中的语境,启发学生观察,思考,分析,表达,复习和运用所学知识。以学生的主体性、实践性为本,增加学习兴趣,培养其语言表达和情感表达能力。
2. 教学背景分析
1. 学生的相关生活经验:“课后活动”与学生的学习、生活紧密相关。大多数学生都在课后不同程度的参加校内外组织的课后活动。学生积累了相关的生活经验。
2. 学生的年龄、性格特点,兴趣爱好、认知风格:三年级的学生喜欢新鲜的事物,对发生在自己身边的事物产生浓厚的兴趣。求知欲强,能就感兴趣的话题与同伴进行交流。
3. 学生的相关知识储备:
学生在二年级时学习了关于Play Time 的相关词汇与词组,能就此话题进行交流。在三下学习了关于学校生活的相关话题,为本单元学习做了相应铺垫。
学生对本单元前几课所学及四、五、六年级书中相关话题的词汇级词组(句型)有不同程度的了解及掌握。学生的课外知识较为丰富,为本课的学习与讨论做了一定的知识储备。
3. 教学目标(含重、难点)
教学目标:
1. 了解国外学生的课外活动,拓展课外活动的学习。
2. 引导学生结合自己实际情况,将自己放学后所进行的活动进行展示和表达。
3. 感受丰富多彩的课外生活。
教学重点:
能够借助录音,图片,文字,教师的讲解和互动了解国外学生的课外活动,并能结合自己实际的课外活动进行表达。
教学难点:
拓展课外活动的学习,理解并结合实际表达运用。
4. 教学过程与教学资源设计(可附教学流程图)
教学过程:
Step 1 Warm up
1. Greetings
T: Good afternoon, boys and girls.
Ss: Good afternoon, Donna.
2. Lead in
T: Every day we have classes from 8 am to 4 pm at school. We call it school time. From Monday to Friday, you can do anything you like after school, including weekend. It’s time for you to take part in some activities. We call it after school activity time.
Step 2 Revision
Review short phrases.
1. T: What activity phrases have you learnt?
Ss: …
2. Let’s review short phrases of activities.
Ss see the pictures and say the short phrases.
3. Ss try to say more activity phrases.
Review the dialogue.
1. T: What are you going to do after school?
S1: I’m going to...

【设计意图】复习学过的活动短语和对话,引导学生用所学过的语言进行交流。为后面所学内容作铺垫。
Step 3 Good to know
1. Ss observe 4 pictures and try to describe pictures.
2. Match pictures to the correct activity.
3. Expend the knowledge.
1) Hold a flea market
Explain the meaning of phrase.
Try forming a skit and act it out.
2) Do volunteer work
Explain the meaning of phrase.
Ss try to describe the pictures they see.
Interview the boy who did the volunteer work.
Do you like to do volunteer work? How does it make you feel?
Then ask other Ss.
What volunteer work do you want to do?
3) Learn new things
Ss watch more pictures and try to read out the activities they know.
4) Go camping
Ss listen to the tape, try to understand the meaning, then, try to read the material.
What should we take when we go camping?
Ss try to answer.
【设计意图】通过观察图画,和学生进行交流,引导学生看图讨论图画,逐步感知新的活动短语,运用所学词汇和语言进行描述和表达。
拓展每个活动短语的学习形式: hold a flea market 设置场景,对话交流,理解短语; do volunteer work 观察图画,学会表述,换位思考,角色体验; learn new things 适当加入一些新的内容,让学生了解国外小朋友放学后的各种活动; go camping 了解户外露营的知识。
Step 4 Let’s share
1. Ss observe their friends’ activities pictures.
2. Ss try to read the word box of activities.
3. Practice to describe their own activity they do after school, talk with partner.
4. Then show.
【设计意图】学生观察班级同学课后活动的图片,营造氛围,激发学生结合自己课后活动的实际进行语言汇报。每个学生根据自身的语言水平进行的个性化的汇报展示,语言进行分层评价。
