Unit 1 Lesson 3 Let’s Spell教学设计
一、教材说明:
本课选自人教版《小学英语》一年级起,第八册,第一单元Let’s Spell部分。是一节语音课,旨在通过本课的学习,使学生掌握一定的语音知识,使学生对本课教学重难点内容达到“听音能写、见词能读”的程度,为学生自主学习能力的培养打好坚实的基础。
二、教学目标:
1. 能够了解字母组合ai和ay的发音规律,并尝试读出符合该规律的单词的发音。
2. 能够拼写出符合拼读规律的单词。
3. 能够尝试运用上述规律拼读和记忆单词。
4. 能够尝试朗读与本课内容相关的英文绘本。
三、教学重点:
1. 引导学生根据字母组合ai和ay的发音规律朗读单词。
2. 引导学生通过听和朗读小韵文和绘本来体会字母组合ai和ay在单词中的发音。
四、教学难点:
字母组合ai和ay的发音要领和发音规律。
五、教学方法:
为能够更好地践行小学英语核心素养的内涵与特点,在教学中尽量将单元内容进行整合,通过phonics自然拼读教学法、小组合作、任务型教学法、语境带动、语用体验等方法使学生掌握关键的能力和培养其必备的品格。
六、教学准备:
教师准备:单词卡片、字母磁铁、奖励标识、PPT课件、共学单词等。
学生准备:学生用书、绘本、文具等。
七、教学过程:
Ⅰ. Greetings:
1. T: Hello, sweets. My name is Candy.
Ss: Hello, Candy.
T: Nice to meet you.
Ss: Nice to meet you, too.
T: It’s very nice to see your smiling faces in the morning. I’m very glad to share the happy time with you.
【设计意图:和学生进行简短的交流,运用学生平时经常使用的打招呼用语,适时和学生握手、击掌等减轻学生对我的陌生感,努力创设一种民主、宽松、和谐的学习氛围。】
Ⅱ. Presentation:
1. T: Today, we’re going to learn Lesson 3 Let’s spell.
2. T: Now, look at the blackboard. Which letter can you see? Yes, it’s the small letter Aa. I’ll draw one more time. Let’s see what is it, now? Yes, it’s a snail. Its name is May. May is my friend. She wants to go the Spain. But you know that the snails can’t walk fast. So today, I’ll divide you into two groups. If you did a good job, you’ll go on for one step. Let’s see which group can help the snail get to the Spain first, OK?
【设计意图:由一个字母引出贯穿本节课的主人公——May(一只小蜗牛),通过简笔画的导入,并引导学生猜测,增强神秘感,迅速吸引学生的注意力,提高学习的兴趣。】
3. T: Do you want to know something about Spain? Please listen to the tape. May wants to introduce Spain to you. Listen then answer my questions.
原文: Spain is an old country. We can go there in May. Because it always sunny on the weekends. We can stay there for a long time, and we can play with the bulls there.
4. T: Can you answer my questions?
(1) Which month can you go to the Spain? ——May
(2) Is it always sunny on Sundays or Monday? ——Sundays
(3) What can you do with the bulls? ——Play with them
【设计意图:由短片对学生进行文化内容的渗透,帮助学生简单了解西班牙这个国家。并且在看片、听音的同时,训练学生抓住关键信息的能力。】
5. T: Look at these three words. What can you find? Yes, they have the same letters “ay”.
Now, let’s watch TV. Tell me how does it pronounce? (视频播放a y /ei/)
【设计意图:通过上一环节学生给出的答案,引导学生观察May, Sunday, play三个单词,并找出这三个单词的共同点,并加以总结得出他们都有相同的字母ay。通过微课的学习,学生自己掌握ay的发音,教师要负责点拨,纠正错误读音。】
6. Practice:
(1) Try to read these words.

(2) Let two students try to spell the words.

【设计意图:在学生通过以上两个环节的练习,借助phonic自然拼读法,掌握ay的发音,并初步做到见词朗读和听音拼写单词。】
7. Pair Work

【设计意图:引导学生听和朗读小韵文来体会字母组合ay在单词中的发音,在学生朗读中,教师强调语调和节奏,使小韵文朗朗上口,学生学习的积极性得以增强。】
8. T: We know that the little snail wants to go to the Spain. Do you think the snail can fun fast? No, so let’s guess how can they go to the Spain?
Ss: By car? By plane? On foot?
T: On the way to the Spain, they meet the train driver, the mailman and the sailor.
【设计意图:再次将本课的主人公请出来,引导学生根据蜗牛的特点猜测小蜗牛去西班牙的出行方式,学生兴趣盎然,积极参与,提出很多种假设。同时引导学生在询问、征求对方答案的时候要用升调表示。】
9. Discriminate the words:
Train driver, mailman and sailor.
【设计意图:通过Ⅱ-4环节的学习,学生掌握了通过观察以上单词来总结规律的方法,找出这几个单词都含有字母组合ai,并且尝试总结字母ai的发音。】
10. Read the words
【设计意图:在课件上给出若干单词,以开火车的方式出现,激发学生兴趣的同时,引导学生发现规律:字母组合ay通常放在单词结尾,而字母组合ai通常放在单词中间。】
11. Listen and judge.

【设计意图:通过听音、辨析、更正的环节,培养学生听音、辨音、朗读的能力,帮助学生快速掌握字母组合ai的发音规则,并训练学生“见词能读”的能力。】
12. Practice:
(1) Let’s have a PK.

【设计意图:小组对抗赛。每组出一名同学在黑板前,黑板准备了两组字母磁铁,学生需要听到老师读词后,迅速用黑板上的磁铁组成单词。哪组同学速度快、且拼写的单词准确即得一分。通过这样的比赛活动,激发学生学习积极性,提升团队精神的同时,训练学生“听音能写”的能力】
(2) Do the exercises:
Take out your study card. Let’s do the exercises. Listen carefully then write down the answers.

【设计意图:PK环节是以单词的形式出现的,而第二项练习题则是以句子呈现,学生需要听并抓住关键信息才能够准确答题。这种循序渐进的训练方式能够很好地掌握本节课的重点内容,解决难点,有效提升学生的学习效果。】
13. Read the picture book:
T: Now, boys and girls, you all did a very good job. So, next let’s do something for fun. I’d like to share a story with you. This story is talk about the little snails.
(1) Look, this is the cover sheet of the story. The title is “wait, wait, wait”. What can you see in the picture? How many snails can you see? What are they doing? Now, let’s enjoy the story.
(2) Let’s listen to the tape for the 1st time.
【设计意图:学生通过对绘本封皮的观察与交流,以及听绘本录音,对绘本内容有初步的了解。】
(3) Read the story by yourself, then answer my questions. Where are they going? How do they go to Spain at last?
【设计意图:引导学生自主朗读,培养自主学习的能力。并带着任务朗读,完成教师布置的问题。】
(4) Read after the tape sentence by sentence.
【设计意图:跟绘本录音朗读,确保学生的发音准确无误。】
(5)Act the dialogue.
【设计意图:通过小组合作的形式,表演绘本内容。增强学生对于本节课两个字母组合ai和ay发音要领和规律、能够加深学生对绘本内容的理解、增强学生的语言运用能力。】
14. Let’s imagine, if you are a snail, you want to go to Spain. But, there is no train, no plane and no ship, will you give up easily? Success belongs to the persevering. (坚持就是胜利)
【设计意图:通过小蜗牛去西班牙这件事,教学学生“只要功夫深,铁杵磨成针”的道理,鼓励学生在做任何事情的时候都不要轻言放弃,坚持到底才是胜利!】

OK, so much for today. At last, let’s summarize what we’ve learnt today? Today we’ve learnt two monograms. They are ai/ay, pronounce /ei/.
