Let’s Spell
【教学目标】
1.能够借助熟悉的旧单词和图片感知字母组合ai和ay的发音规律,并利用该规律拼出新单词的读音,进而尝试记住其写法。
2.能够根据录音正确的听出单词并写出来。
3.能够积极的参加课堂上的各种活动或游戏,并能与同伴合作完成活动或游戏。
【教学重难点】

【教学过程】
一、教学导入
1. Greetings.
T: Good morning, boys and girls!
S: Good morning, teacher!
T: Today I’m not glad, because it’s raining now. Let’s rid of it.
T: Let’s chat.
出示小短文,齐读并找出你发现了什么,引出本课。
二、新课呈现
1. Let’s read.
(1)出示图片,学生回顾单词。
T: (点击课件,ay发/ei/出现火车的图片)What’s this?
S: Train.
T: Very good. It’s a train. Train, train.
S: Train, train.
T: This is a mail. Mail, mail.
S: Mail, mail.
T: (点击课件,出现说话的图片)What is she doing?
S: She is saying.
T: Very good. Say, say.

T: (点击课件,出现五月的日历)Which month is it?

T: Very good. It’s May. May, may.

T: 同学们回顾了这些单词有没有发现什么规律呢?

T: Right.这些单词里的字母组合ai和ay都是发的/ei/这个音,train, rain, say, May对不对?

T: 注意看老师的嘴型,这个音的发音规则是/ei/(教师讲解发音规律。)

(2)听录音,指单词。
T: Now listen to the radio and point out which one.

(教师播放A部分的录音,学生根据听到的内容指出是哪一副图片。)
(3)听录音,跟读。
T: Listen to the radio again and repeat.

(教师播放A部分的录音,一句一顿,学生跟读。)
2. Read aloud.
(1)教师带领学生认读B部分的单词每个带读两至三遍。
(2)听录音检查自己的读音并跟读。
3.让学生在游戏中学习单词发音
(1)打地鼠
(2)切西瓜
(3)植物大战僵尸
(4)头脑风暴
3. Let’s write.
(1)教师给出一分钟的时间,学生浏览C部分的题目和图片。
(2)教师第一遍播放C部分的录音,学生认真听,听完之后写出答案。
(3)教师第二遍播放C部分的录音,在出现答案的地方停顿,检查学生的答案,及时纠正。
4. Let’s chant.
(1)出示图片,猜测内容。
T: (点击课件,出现D部分的图片)What’s the weather like in this picture?
S: Rain.
T: Right. Which month is it?
S: May.
T: So clever. Now let’s have a look at what’s happening.

(2)教师讲解内容。
教师逐句讲解这个chant的内容,注意单词和短语。
(3)听录音并跟读。
T: Now listen to the radio and then repeat.

三、基础巩固
1.做“Listen an find”的游戏。以小组为单位,小组内的每个学生都被指定为一个本课所学单词,然后教师读单词。如:教师读rain,那么各组被指定为这个单词的学生就必须马上站起来。然后由各组的其他同学判断对错。对了加分,教师接着读下一个单词,游戏继续。最后,比一比哪个组得分最多,哪个组就获胜。
2. Who runs fast?
学生分为四个小组,每个小组派一个人参加游戏,教师将单词卡片贴在黑板上,学生手拿玩具小锤,在听到全班朗读某一个单词时,快速找到这张图片,敲击并重复该单词,快者为胜。胜的同学将会有一朵小红花的奖励。
