Unit 1 Lesson 1
一、教学目标
1.能够正确地听、说、认读单词home, bed, bedroom并能灵活使用;能够正确地听,说,读,写单词desk, chair并能灵活使用;能够正确地听、说、认读There is...,并在真实情境中恰当使用;能够运用所学单词home, bed, bedroom, desk, chair及功能语句Look at my.... Welcome to.... There is...等就所熟悉的居所话题进行简单描述。
2.培养学生对英语学习的兴趣,参与能力,合作精神及表现欲望,从而提升学生对英语学习的自信心并使其保持恒久的学习兴趣。
3.学习策略目标:以任务型教学模式为总框架,在学习中培养学生以旧带新,学科整合等学习方法和策略,通过游戏教学激发学生兴趣,帮助学生更快习得语言。
4.文化意识目标:培养学生对英语学习的兴趣及民族自豪感和荣誉感,同时培养学生养成感恩父母,孝敬父母的传统美德。
二、学情分析
四年级的学生已有了一定的英语语言基础和文化积淀,加之本课的教学内容为家居情况介绍,学生较为熟悉,便于接受并习得语言。而新知中的四会单词desk chair学生三年级时已经接触并习得,所以本课再次学习很轻松。对于新知中的功能语句There is...学生虽然陌生,但有三年级I have...句型做铺垫和解释这对学生理解起来也有很大帮助

bedroom的正确发音
功能语句There is...的正确使用及居所介绍话题的恰当描述。
四、教学过程
(一)【导入热身】
1.师生问候。
T: Good morning, boys and girls! Nice to meet you!
Ss: Nice to meet you too!
T: New term I have a new home.(课件出示My New Home字样)Do you know home? Look here! (黑板上彩纸拼剪成的home)Look at my home. This is my home. I have a home. So “home” are you clear?
Ss: Yes.
(read the word—home in groups.每组读完教师便奖励一个自制的彩纸拼剪的home图片,以备后续活动使用)
T: Look! There is a new home.(课件出示自编歌曲my new home,师生共同演唱。)
设计意图:home一词学生三年级时已经接触,本课开篇以教师向学生展示新家(黑板上彩纸拼剪成的home)开门见山,学生在图(黑板上彩纸拼剪成的home)文(教师语言描述Look at my home. This is my home. I have a home)并茂中习得home一词,同时又以自编歌曲,旧曲新唱的方式巩固home一词同时复习引出本课话题中涉及的以往学过的Look at my… Welcome to…等功能语句。
(二)【新授讲授】
1. T: In China, there are many interesting homes. Look here! (课件出示中国特色住宅图片,也是Fun time 1 Culture Link环节中涉及的内容。)There is a Country Yard House, Cave Home, Mongolian Tent and Modern Apartment. Today let’s play games in these homes. And games over, you can get the letter cards.(展示字母卡片。)The cards are about homes around China.(展示字母卡片的背面—中国特色住宅图片。)Do you want to get them?
Ss: Yes!
T: Ok, try your best. First let’s go into the cave home to play a changing game.(出示课件。)What color is it?
Ss: Red!
(教师板书red图片及书写单词。)
T: What’s this?
Ss: Train?
T: Sorry, I don’t think so. I think it is a bed. Let’s spell it!
Ss: b-e-d.
T: Yes, let’s change.(教师改变板书。)one, two, three change(表示红色的图片翻转变成床的图片,单词red改成bed。)How to read? b-e-d?
Ss:学生练习bed读音。
T: Now Bed Train is coming.
(单词拉火车的游戏,每组用bed造句。)
T: I have a Bed Train too. Look here! (教师出示板书。)bed-new bed-a new bed-There is a new bed.(引出新知There is…功能语句。)About there is, there is a chant.(课件出示chant师生共同演绎,学生明白了There is...然后操练句型如下:)
Look! There is a box in the classroom. Guess what’s in the box? (学生以摸奖的形式参与活动并练说句子。)

T: Now there is nothing in the box. In cave home, you did very well. So each group gets two letter cards. The letter cards are M and I(出示课件。)The M card is about 傣家竹楼,The I card is about客家围屋。Group leader come here! Here you are! Please glue them onto your homes.(将游戏所得的卡片贴在home环节教师发给每组的拼剪好的home上。)
设计意图:本环节采用以旧带新的方法由red经过changing game学习掌握bed,并以Bed Train活动,小组合作操练单词bed并自然引出新知There is…歌谣chant 使学生轻松掌握了There is...摸奖环节又使学生巩固了There is…新知的学习。以旧带新降低学习难度学生易于接受,难点There is…的引入,学习和操练以歌谣,游戏的形式轻松激趣。
2. T: Now let’s go into the Mongolian tent to play a counting game.(数学与英语学科整合,引出bedroom。)
bed+room=bedroom(订正读音—教师利用图片解释bedroom: There is a bed. There is a room.两图合二为一There is a bedroom。)
In Mongolian tent we found some nice bedrooms. Whose bedroom is this? (课件出示学生的卧室图片,让学生找出自己的卧室,并用This is my bedroom. Look at my bedroom. There is a …in my bedroom.描述,其余同学看图片并回答What’s in the bedroom?)

设计意图:将数学学科中的列式计算引入英语课堂,学习单词bedroom。学科整合即激发学生的兴趣又能降低新知学习时的难度,图片示意新词直观易懂,找卧室的环节即让学生感到亲切又操练了句型There is…
3. Now let’s go into the country yard house to play a guessing game. Let’s guess: What has legs but can’t walk? (猜谜的形式引出desk chair。)学习单词desk chair,并以抢椅子游戏的形式操练desk chair及功能语句There is…。 In country yard house we are very happy. So each group gets two cards. The card are F and A. The F card is about苗族吊脚楼,The A card is about开平碉楼。Group leader come here! Here you are! Please glue them onto your homes.(将游戏所得的卡片贴在home环节教师发给每组的拼剪好的home上。)
设计意图:desk chair一词为学生三年级时接触的词,以猜谜游戏的形式引出有利于激发学生的学习兴趣。抢椅子的游戏既能使学生恒久保持学习兴趣活跃课堂气氛,又能操练本课重难点功能语句There is…。
4. T: At last, let’s go into the modern apartment to see a film. Do you like seeing a film?
Ss: Yes.
T: Ok, let’s go to see. Follow me! (课件播放课文视频2遍,学生观看。)
T: Ok, stop here! The film is about Lesson 1. Now open your books turn to page 2. Let’s read the dialogue.
Ss: 齐读课文。
T: Now close your books and then take out your paper. Let’s listen and fill.(播放课件)Do you finish? Let’s check the answer.
Ss: Read, spell and fill.
设计意图:以观影的形式完成话题的学习,便于学生接受和掌握,同时也能激发他们的兴趣。Listen and fill环节又以听力的形式巩固文本,培养学生的听力理解能力和专注力。
(三)【活动操练】
1. T: In this film, I know Li Yan has a new home. There is a new bed, a new desk and a new chair in Li Yan’s home. Now I want to know what you have at home. Can you show us? Some minutes to prepare
Ss:小组活动进行话题的相关练习和拓展操练。
2. T: Ok, stop here! Let’s show.
Ss:各小组以不同形式(演唱的形式;课本剧表演的形式;动感操表演的形式;话题续编的形式。)进行对话展演。
设计意图:以学生们喜爱并常见的表现形式来操练话题,形式新颖,学生喜爱。
(四)【作业布置】
T: About homes, I think you have many stories. But show time is over. After class, you can talk about your homes with your partner. And then you can draw and describe your ideal homes in the future.(课件出示作业内容。)
设计意图:作业的设计既体现学生通过本课的学习巩固应知应会的内容,又能体现语言应用中对学生想象力和创造力的培养。
(五)【拓展环节】
1. T: Now, let’s count your cards.(展示各组张贴在拼剪好的home图片上的游戏所得中国特色住宅卡片。)
The six cards can make up a word. The word is “family”.(将拼剪好的home图片翻转到背面,显示FAMILY字样。)
2. About family, I have a story. Look here.(课件播放family公益广告,教师做内容介绍,以此呼吁同学们要爱父母,爱自己的家。)
3. At the end of the class, I want to tell you we should be kind to our father and mother. We should help our father and mother. Let’s be good boys and good girls. Let’s love our father and mother. Let’s love our family.
设计意图:将课堂评价物充分利用起来,并巧设机关,拼凑单词family,以此自然引入公益广告,适时对学生进行情感态度价值观的培养和引导。课堂评价充满了中国特色,是对学生爱国主义,民族自豪感培养的很好渗透。公益广告更是发人深省,培养学生感恩父母,传承孝道的美德,让本课意犹未尽,寓意深远。
