英语五年级下册《 Unit1 Let’s Spell 》教学设计
一、学情分析
农村小学英语有效资源匮乏,应试教育下,学生除了保证课堂学习和课外作业练习之外,很少有接触英语的机会。所以英语环境差,孩子们的基础远远不足,我们几乎还在重复上一代的“哑巴式英语”。英语教材全新改版后,《 Let’s Spell 》作为独立章节的出现会提高学生快速识别单词的能力。运用Phonics(自然拼读)教学法,引导学生认读和记忆单词,逐步培养学生“见词能读”和“听音能写”的能力,再到流利阅读、词汇量积累,阅读理解能力的形成,最后直至综合能力整体提升。
教学目标
(一)能够借助熟悉的单词和图片感知字母组合ea在单词中的发音规律,并能利用这些规律拼读出含有这一字母组合的其他单词。
(二)能够尝试运用上述规律拼读、识记和书写单词。
二、教学重点、难点
重点:找到ea 字母组合在单词中的发音规律。
难点:利用发音规律“见词能读,听音能写”。
三、教学过程
Step1: Warming-up
1. Greeting (PPT1)
T: Hello, hello, boys and girls.
Ss: Hello, hello, dear Susan.
T: How I wonder where we are.
Ss: We are traveling in the English world.
T: Welcome to English world! Have your seat, please!
(Ss: Sit down.)
【设计意图】带着美妙旋律的问候语将孩子们引入英语世界的气氛。
2. Revision
T: The eternal topic for human being is keeping (Ss: Healthy.)
(1) T: So we should take good care of our body, especially our stomachs.
Ss: We shouldshouldn’t eat too much.
(2) T: And we should have good habits for daily life.
Ss: We should shouldn’t….
T: And except that, exercise is the most popular regimen these days.
So boys and girls, don’t you want to move your body as the music?
Ss: Do exercises.
T: I hope you are all healthy every day. Pay more energy to travel in the English world.【设计意图】通过当下流行的话题做引入复习本单元重点功能句和重点短语。Step2: Lead in and presentation
1. Show a short video about “E”.
T: English world is amazing! Do you know, the wonderful sounds of the worlds are all from theletters, that means every letter makes a sound, and we can find more about the law of pronunciation. (PPT: 26 letters)
T: Let’s see which letter comes first! Oh, “E”? What sound does “E” make? Let’s enter into “E” room, and a wild guy is waiting there. Play a short video.
T: What’s the sound does “E” make?
Ss: |e| (T: Explain the correct method of pronouncing e.)
T+Ss: So we can sing the “e” says |e|, the “e” says e...
T: Let’s perceive the sound in the words. (Show egg. elephant...)
【设计意图】活泼有趣的字母动画令自然拼读的学习趣味无穷,孩子们会自然被吸引而记住由字母e在单词中的的发音,由此引入ea的发音。
2. Learn how to pronounce “ea”.
(1) Present “ea”.
T: Sometimes, it is not the single one in the words, it usually makes friends with “a” (Show a card “ea”.), so how about “ea”, what sound “ea” makes?
T: First, Let’s see a short text. Wow! So many words with “ea”.
Can you find them?
Ss: Find and write the words with “ea” under “ea” card beside the suitable pictures.
(2) Find out the sound “ea”.
Play the recorder.
Teach the letter sound.
T: Every letter makes a sound.
H says h, “ea” says (Ss:e ), d says d...
T: So “ea” says e, well, have you found that “ea” makes the same sound as “e”.
(3). Read together.
So we can also sing “ea” says e, “ea” says e...

3. Find out the other sound i: of “ea”.
【设计意图】知识拓展,掌握 ea 字母组合常见的另一种发音。
