Teaching aims:
1)Using nouns to identify items.
2) Using modal sentences to indicate possession.
Teaching material and equipment:
Word cards , multi-media.
Teaching procedure:
Step 1: Pre-task preparations.
1. Greetings: Greet to the whole class.
2. Warming-up: Let’s sing a song.
3.Ask and answer: a. Which season is it now?
b. What do you need?
Step 2: While-task procedures.
1. Activity 1: Brainstorming.
Have the students talk about the clothes that they know.
2. Activity 2: Learn the clothes words that they wear in summer like: T-shirt, shorts, dress, skirt.
3. Activity 3: Learn the clothes words that they wear in winter like: trousers, jacket, coat, sweater.
4. Activity 4: Ask and answer.
Have the students say the clothes that they have.
e.g., T: What do you have?
Ss: I have…
5. Activity 5
Have the students listen to the recording for “Let’s talk” on page 38 of the Student’s Book and repeat sentences after the recording.
Step 3: Post-task activities.
Activity 1: Sentences making.
Have the students make sentences with the sentences pattern of “I have …”.
