Analysis of
teaching material
Study skills of this unit introduce the differences between British
English and American English. It also presents some exercise for the
students to practice.
After learning the former parts of this unit, the students have got
much knowledge about robots. The topic of this part is: A complaint
letter. It’s unfamiliar to the students. Students need to write a
letter according to the topic.
Analysis of students
The students have met British English and American English when
reading, but they can’t distinguish the differences between them
sometimes.
The students are expected to write a complaint letter after learning this unit. They need to learn a proper way to produce.

By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
1.know the differences between British English and American English .
2. use the new words ,phrases and sentences: product, be satisfied with,
etc.
