一、教材分析:
这是新目标英语(Go
for
it)八年级下册第五单元第一课时。学会谈论过去发生的事情、学会讲故事是本单元的语言目标。如何使用过去进行时及使用when、while引导的时间状语从句是本单元的重点内容。本单元谈论的是过去的事情。围绕回忆过去的事展开教学活动,创设生动真实的教学情境,再现故事情节,学会使用过去进行时的表达法。
二、学生分析
学生七年级下册就学过现在进行时,并掌握如何使用现在进行时来描述日常活动,而且掌握了一些日常活动的短语,有利于他们学习过去进行时。本班学生求知欲比较强,如果教师能多创设情境,他们会更乐于参加,那么会起到更好的教学效果。八年级学生已有了一定的英语基础和听说能力,对英语学习有了较浓厚的兴趣。经过学校“1+2+3+4”课堂改革教学模式,学生自主合作和探究的能力都有加强。
三、教学目标
(一)知识与能力:

2.在谈论过去进行时态时,播放上次的暴风雨资料,引起学生的回忆,学习过去进行时态。同时利用幻灯片学习功能句。
3利用多媒体的播放功能播放听力。
五、教学方法:
1.任务型教学法:给学生任务, 让学生使用过去进行时来完成这些任务。
2.情景教学法:创造足够的交际环境刺激学生的视听能力,使他们能够更好的理解这一时态。
3.听说交际教学法:学生通过俩俩对话或小组对话来掌握过去进行时。
