本节教学内容以第一节内容为铺垫，在学生理解、掌握与春节相关的短语have a big dinner，visit friends and relatives，paste the couplet，go to the flower market to buy some flowers，get red packet，clean the house，watch fireworks的情况下进行了拓展和延伸，学习了包括春节在内的三个传统节日，the Spring Festival，the Mid-autumn Festival，the Double-ninth Festival及节日所涉及月份，天气和活动的表达，并将所学运用到When is the ...? It’s in.../ How is the weather? It’s.../ What do you usually do at the...? We usually .../ What do you usually eat at the ...? We usually eat ... 的句型中。

学生3：Mid-Autumn中Mid就是middle的意思，中学就是middle school，罗湖中学就是Luohu Middle school. 学生4：中秋节就是秋天的最中间的那天，所以由Middle和Autumn 合在一起变成Mid-Autumn.
学生5：重阳节是九月九号，也就是两个九，double表示双数，所以Double-Ninth就是重阳节。
学生6：每一个节日的首字母都需要大写。
