Unit3 My friends A Let’s learn
教材分析:
本课时的教学内容为PEP四年级上册Unit3 My friends Part A部分的Let’s learn。教材通过John和Mike谈论朋友这一情景,让学生学习运用本节课的核心词汇和句型来描述他人的外貌及性格特征,并学习询问他人的姓名及如何回答。本课所学贴近学生生活,学生比较感兴趣。
教学目标:
1. 语言知识目标:
1)通过学习活动能熟练掌握单词及短语:tall and strong, short and thin, friendly, quiet.
2)能运用核心句型:He’s /She’s...描述他人的性格和外貌特征。
3)理解并初步运用句型: Who is he/she? His/Her name is …询问他人姓名并回答。
2. 学习策略目标:
通过机械操练、情景操练、游戏活动、小组活动等多种形式和方法,引导学生共同完成学习任务。
3. 情感态度目标:
1)鼓励学生积极参与小组合作学习,培养其团队意识。
2)使学生认识到友谊的重要性,从而增进学生之间的友情。   
教学重点:熟练运用“He is...”“Who is he ?”“His name is...”等重点句型。
教学难点:正确认读、听、说strong ,friendly,quiet.
教学准备:PPT、word cards
教学过程:
Step 1. warming up
(1).Sing a song “Boy and girl”.
T: Boys and girls, do you like singing songs? Now let’s enjoy a song, OK?
(2).Free talk
T: I am your teacher. I am your friend , too .Would you like to be my friend ? S: ? First, let me introduce myself. My name’s…, you can call me Miss Zhu. What’s your name?
S1… S2…S3…
(3).Let’s chant:
Get the students to chant together and do the actions.
Step2 Presentation
T: Ok, You are my friends now. I’d like to share my friends with you . Let’s go and see, who are they?
(1)isten and guess.
(出示课件上的图片)Look., Who is he? his name is Xiong Da .He is so tall and strong . and Xiong Er is tall and strong,too(做出动作)
(呈现短语), 教学tall and strong (齐读-分组读-单个读)
T :Look at the picture. What’s Guang Touqiang like? Is he tall and strong? Oh, no! He is short and thin(加上动作).
(呈现短语). 教学short and thin.
T: Who is tall and strong /short and thin in our class? Can you tell me? Get Ss to answer.
(2)(呈现课件上的图片: 一个人做出噤声的动作),师边读边做动作,让生猜汉语意思。
出示单词quiet. 教学quiet
(课件出示小丸子的图片。)Look! She is quiet
(3)(课件呈现握手的图片),Look, I have a good friend, She is friendly.
出示生词friend ,再出示friendly, 引导生体味从friend到ly /li/的发音过程。
师通过引导学生做或打招呼的动作,让生知道“友好的”意思,可以在做动作中练读。
师重点通过口型指导/ai?/发音,师生反复练习,然后回到说句子练习新词。Who is friendly/quiet in our class? (Ss answer.)
(4)Ask and answer:
利用班上的学生进行问答:T:Look,who is he/she? What is he/she like? He/She is……
Step3 Practice
1.Ss listen carefully.
2.Ss listen and repeat.(注意语音、语调。)
3.Game1:采蘑菇(先师生后小组)
Game 2: 我说你做,我做你说I say ,you do &I do , you say
4.Work in pairs. talk about your own friend with the sentence patterns
A: I have a good friend. He’s /She’s...
B: Who is he/she?
A: His / Her name is..
5. Show.
Step4 Production : look, remember and say
 课件出示具有鲜明特征的人物图片,学生观察10秒钟后,人物消失,请学生根据记忆用词汇描述人物
Step5 summary :what did you learn in this class?
Step6 Progress
Do exercises of their workbooks.
Check the answers.
点评,并看哪个组是获胜组,给以表扬鼓励。
Step7 Homework:
(1) Listen to the tape of Part A Let’s learn and follow to read. 本课所学内容读给家长听。
(2) Describe your good friend to your classmates in English. 练习介绍自己的朋友。
