第二节
读后续写(满分15分)
Paragraph
1:
A
few
minutes
later,
the
shop
owner
came
out.
There,
before
Bobby’s
eyes,
lay
a
bunch
of
roses.
“That
will
just
be
a
dime,
young
man.”
the
shop
owner
said.
“Could
this
be
true
No
one
else
would
sell
me
a
thing
for
only
a
dime!”
Bobby
thought.
Sensing
the
boy’s
hesitation,
the
shop
owner
added:
“I
just
happened
to
have
some
roses
on
sale.
Would
you
like
them ”
This
time,
Bobby
didn’t
hesitate
and
took
the
flower
with
gratitude.
Paragraph
2:
With
the
bunch
of
roses
in
his
hands,
Bobby
walked
out
of
the
door
and
then
broke
into
a
run.
Within
minutes,
he
was
at
home,
still
breathless.
“Look,
Mum,
what
have
I
bought
for
you ”
Bobby
called
out
in
the
backyard.
His
mother
could
hardly
believe
her
eyes
upon
seeing
the
beautiful
flowers
in
front
of
her.
“Merry
Christmas!”
Bobby
said
and
began
to
tell
her
everything
he
had
experienced
in
the
flower
shop.
Mother
took
her
son
in
her
arms,
tears
of
happiness
streaming
down
her
cheeks.
Standing
in
the
bitter
cold
air,
they
somehow
didn’t
feel
cold
at
all.

(Text
1)
W:
We
don’t
have
to
go
back
to
London
by
plane.
It
is
too
expensive.
M:
But
I
don’t
really
want
to
drive
all
that
way.
W:
Let’s
go
by
train
then.
M:
OK.
(Text2)
W:
Hi,
Tom,
I
can’t
make
that
meeting
on
Monday.
My
schedule
is
pretty
tight.
M:Well,
I’ll
be
too
busy
on
Tuesday.
Can
you
make
it
Wednesday
W:
That’s
OK.
(Text3)
M:
Can
I
help
you
W:
I’d
like
to
have
my
phone
disconnected
because
I’m
going
to
study
in
New
York.
(Text4)
M:
Oh,
it’s
ten
to
four
now.
We
must
hurry
up.
The
film
starts
in
20
minutes.
And
we
need
10
minutes
to
walk
to
the
cinema.
W:
Let’s
go.
Don’t
forget
to
take
the
tickets.
(Text5)
W:
Do
you
hear
the
announcement
that
Flight
307
to
New
Haven
has
been
canceled
M:
What
Why
W:
Due
to
an
electrical
failure.
M:
What
should
we
do
We
need
to
be
on
time
for
the
meeting.
(Text6)
W:
Tom,
how
do
you
feel
about
living
here
M:
Very
good.
W:
Why
do
you
decide
to
move
here
M:
Well,
several
of
my
university
friends
went
to
places
like
the
U.S.A.
and
Canada,
mainly
for
much
bigger
salaries,
and
at
on
point
I
was
considering
joining
them.
But
then
I
met
an
old
friend
who’d
been
in
Argentina
for
a
year
and
she
was
telling
me
how
much
she
enjoyed
the
challenge
of
living
and
working
in
a
non-English-speaking
country.
So
I
made
up
my
mind
to
come
here
too.
(Text7)
W:
Where
did
you
go
this
weekend,
John
M:
I
had
a
picnic
with
my
family
in
the
countryside.
I
also
lay
down
on
the
grass
and
looked
at
the
clouds
in
the
blue
sky.
It
was
the
happiest
time
of
my
life.
How
about
you
Did
you
have
a
good
weekend
W:
Yeah,
I
visited
an
Italian
city.
There
are
no
tall
buildings
or
heavy
traffic.
M:
Why
W:
It’s
an
ancient
city
with
a
history
of
two
thousand
years.
The
Italians
don’t
want
to
change
the
ancient
city
into
a
modern
one.
(Text8)
M:
Mrs.
Brown,
would
you
mind
waiting
outside
the
room
I’ll
call
you
as
soon
as
the
doctor
finishes
the
operation
and
you
can
see
your
husband
for
a
few
minutes.
W:
How
is
he
M:
I
don’t
know
yet.
The
doctor
will
tell
you
how
his
condition
is,
after
he
has
finished
treating
your
husband.
W:
How
long
may
I
see
him
when
you’re
finished
with
him
M:
You’d
better
ask
the
doctor
that.
At
the
same
time,
would
you
mind
filling
out
all
the
forms
that
are
necessary
W:
Of
course
not.
Where
can
I
get
them
M:
Just
go
down
to
the
main
hall.
The
girl
at
the
front
desk
will
help
you.
W:
OK,
I’ll
go
there
now.
(Text9)
M:
Let’s
go
over
the
arrangements
for
my
trip
to
Bombay.
W:
Sure,
here’s
your
schedule.
You’re
flying
at
9:55
on
Monday
evening.
That’s
British
Airway
flight
139.
Er,
you
have
to
check
in
two
hours
before
so
I’ve
arranged
for
a
car
to
pick
you
up
from
the
office
at
6:30.
It
gets
into
Bombay
at
11:15
p.m.
M:
Good.
Now
when
am
I
seeing
Mr.
Shah
W:
Tuesday
afternoon
at
two.
By
the
way,
Mr.
Majundar
is
coming
to
the
meeting
as
well.
M:
That’s
good
news,
so
we
don’t
have
to
arrange
a
separate
meeting.
And
has
the
tour
of
the
new
factory
been
arranged
for
Wednesday
W:
Yes,
they’ll
pick
you
up
in
the
morning
at
9:00.
M:
Good.
Have
you
got
traveler’s
cheques
W:
Yes,
here
you
are.
M:
Now
has
my
visa
arrived
W:
No,
not
yet.
I’ll
phone
and
find
out
if
they’ve
sent
it
off
yet.
M:
Thanks.
and
when
am
I
flying
back
W:
I’m
afraid
the
earliest
flight
I
could
get
is
Thursday
at
1:15
a.m.
Everything
else
was
booked
up.
(Text10)
M:
Hi,
everyone.
I’m
going
to
talk
to
you
today
about
a
really
interesting
project
I
took
part
in
this
summer.
It’s
an
event
called
One-day
Clean-up
and
its
aim
is
to
clear
the
rubbish
of
the
world’s
natural
environments.
Everyone
in
my
team
was
very
friendly.
Pretty
much
everyone
on
my
team
is
planning
to
go
to
university
next
year
or
the
year
after.
One
or
two
people
are
hoping
to
study
medicine
but
most
of
us
actually
want
to
do
geography.
Oh,
and
a
couple
are
planning
to
do
zoology.
You’d
be
amazed
at
how
much
rubbish
there
was.
In
just
three
hours
we
collected
179
kilos.
The
team
who
collected
the
most
rubbish
collected
187
kilos.
The
other
teams
collected
a
bit
less
each—
but
only
2
or
3
kilos
less.
I
must
admit
I
thought
it
would
be
quite
an
unpleasant
job
picking
up
lots
of
rubbish,
but
it
actually
turned
out
to
be
the
other
way
round.
At
the
end
of
the
day
we
had
a
talk
about
the
importance
of
the
work
we’d
been
doing.
I
was
amazed
when
they
said
that
rubbish
in
the
seas
kills
over
1,000,000
seabirds
every
year.
I’d
really
recommend
anyone
to
join
us
next
year.
I’ll
certainly
be
there
again.
