在英语中,arrive in/at、reach、get to均可表示“到达” 但用法略有不同:
arrive :不及物,到达一个小地点,后面加介词 at;到达一个大的地方,后面加介词in,后面跟地点副词here/there/home等时,无需介词;
get :表示“到达”时是不及物动词,涉及地点时后面加 to,后面跟地点副词here/there/home等时,无需介词;
reach :是及物动词,后面直接跟地点。如:
He arrived in Shanghai last night. 他昨天晚上到达上海。
How did he get there in such a short time? 他是怎么在那么短的时间到那里的?
We reached the station just in time. 我们及时赶到了火车站。
