--Of course not. 1.只接v-ing作宾语的常见动词can’t stand, put off, instead of, keep on, see about, have difficulty (trouble, problem, a hard time, fun, a good time),be busy, waste time,insist on, think of, feel like (cf. would like to do sth.), set about (cf. set out to do sth.),be fond of, give up ,put off ,succeed in, prevent/stop/keep/prohibit sb. (from)+ doing
e.g. I can’t stand being treated like that.
I don’t feel like going out alone at this time of the day.
Keep on trying until you succeed.

Nothing can prevent me from doing that.look forward to(cf. look forward to do sth. ), stick to,
lead to ,object to, pay attention to, get used/accustomed to, be addicted to, devote...to, get down to +doing
e.g. The newly discovered evidence led to his being arrested.

He has devoted all his life to serving the people. 4. 动词forget, go on, mean, regret, remember, stop, try, be used to, can't help后跟动名词和跟不定式区别较大,须注意。
forget, regret, remember后跟动名词,动名词表示已经发生的动作;后跟不定式表示将要发生的动作。 3. need/want/require/deserve doing sth.
=need/want/require/deserve to be done.
