本课内容选自PEP三年级下册Unit 5 Do you like pears? Part A Let’s spell,分为语音和书写两大块,语音部分主要学习元音字母u在单词中的短音发音[?],并在掌握其发音规律的过程中了解拆音、拼音和分类等语音知识。书写部分要求学生通过描红单词初步掌握单词书写的要求并能够辨认词形。

思路
本课以一只做任何事都觉得有乐趣的小鸭子为主线贯穿教学,将duck, fun, run, under, sun等含有u的单词通过拆音、拼音等方式进行语音教学,渗透语音拼读策略,并反复呈现 小鸭子说的“It’s fun to...”来传递积极乐观的人生态度。在教学过程中,教师运用了视频、游戏、TPR等方式辅助教学,让学生感知、体验、观察发现字母u的短音发音规律并加以练习和巩固,并适时结合教材提供的chant文本创设情境来巩固单词的音、形、义。通过摆单词的游戏让学生逐步掌握“听音能写”的能力,最后提供与字母u相关的绘本故事,提高学生的阅读能力,从中感受英语语言的魅力。

分析
学生已经在三年级上册掌握26个字母的名称音和书写,并初步了解字母在单词中的发音,同时在三年级下册已掌握了元音字母a的短音发音。

教学目标:
1. 知道元音字母u在单词中的短音发音[?],并做到正确发音。
2. 能够正确说出元音字母u在单词中的短音发音[?],并能根据发音规律拼读语音例词:duck, run, under, fun, sun等。
3. 能够逐步做到见到符合u的短音发音规律的单词能拼读,听到的符合发音规律的单词能拼写。
4. 能够朗读含字母u的歌谣Run duck, run。
5. 能够理解句型It’s fun to...的含义并能正确朗读。
6. 能够阅读关于字母u的绘本故事It’s fun to jump。
7. 通过多种形式的语音训练活动,使学生在快乐学习中感受语音之美,感受英语学习的乐趣.

1-a.通过“字母积木”的拼搭游戏呈现出卡车truck,将“圆形积木S”变成太阳,之后通过询问鸭子的位置引出句子,呈现含有u的单词duck, truck, under, sun.
b通过找以上四个单词的相同之处,引导学生观察并发现规律,启发思维。
1-c通过动感视频Letter u song让学生感知字母u的短音发音以及巩固truck, duck, sun, fun的发音。
2.学习字母u的短音发音后,先学习拼读u加辅音字母,由易到难,层层递进。
3.通过聆听课文配套音频中关于duck的拼读音频,让学生知道duck的发音由三个音素组成,感知并学习自然拼读法。
4.图文结合,将单词放入有意义的句子It’s fun to run!
再让学生训练拼读含有un的“辅音+元音+辅音”单词。
5.呈现鸭子在阳光下的情境引出under,并让学生通过聆听under的拼读音频思考其音素组成。
6.整体呈现课本歌谣,让学生先聆听后朗读,巩固u的短音发音,之后复现句型It’s fun to…,承上启下。
7.鸭子在阳光下跳跃引出It’s fun to jump under the sun. 之后让学生跟着三上已学的歌谣片段一起跳跃,真实体验jump的乐趣。
8.通过帮助小鸭子跳至太阳的游戏,让学生逐一拼读含有字母u的单词,既巩固拼读方法,又为之后阅读绘本故事做铺垫。
