Students don’t have enough English words about this topic, so it is a little difficult for them. However, students like listening and speaking, with the help of the teacher, they are able to have the ability to talk about the problems and advice.

VII. Teaching procedures
Step1. Warming up
Listen to the music and clap to the rhythm, try to make students relaxed and active.
Step2. Lead in
Watch the video, then guess “What’s the problem with the boy?”
Step3.Listening
1. Look at the picture, and think:
what’s the problem with the driver? What should he do?
2. 2a, listen and fill in the blanks with could or should (on the paper).
3. 2b. Why doesn’t Peter like his friend’s advice?
Listen and write the letters(a-e) next to the advice in 2a (on the paper).
4. Listen again and fill in the blanks, to study the passage further (on the paper) .
Step4. Pairwork
2c According to the information in 2a and 2b, practice a conversation between Peter and his friend.
Step5. Role-play the conversation
1. Listen and repeat.
2. Learn the notes in 2d
3. Role-play the conversation with the partner.
Step6. Groupwork
1. Do a survey in groups, and complete the form.
2. Make an interview in front of the class.
