【教材分析】
第一模块是要求认识并了解世界上闻名遐迩的自然和人文景观，继而亲身感受大自然的鬼斧神工和人类文明的成果是每个青少年的向往。本模块介绍了巨人之路、科罗拉多大峡谷、三峡大坝和兵马俑等举世闻名的世界景观，这些能够帮助学生扩大知识面，增强学生对自然和人文景观的热爱。
本模块没有新的语法项目，主要复现了一般现在时、一般过去时、一般将来时、现在进行时和过去进行时等时态内容，在九年级初始阶段起到了承上启下的作用，学生通过学习，能够提高对这几种基本时态的理解和综合运用能力。
