Contact hours and teaching methods:
Summer School courses are full-time and normally consist of 48 contact hours over the three-week period, taking the form of 36 hours of lectures and 12 hours of classes. Lectures, attended by all students, take place in either the morning or afternoon supplemented by small one-hour classes, of approximately 15 students.
Assessment and examinations:
Assessment for Summer School is based upon the results of either two written examinations, or a final written examination and assessment work. Everyone is required to take the examinations and no exception can be made for any reason.

Your next car might drive itself. After years of trials on city streets, driverless vehicles are now nearing the live phase. Last month, a driverless bus began carrying passengers through Lyon, France. Most in the automobile industry think self-driving vehicles will be on the road by 2020 or before.

Pollution and carbon emissions will drop, because urban driverless cars will be electric. The old, otherwise they would stay at home most of the time and the disabled and teenagers will suddenly gain mobility.
On the other hand, driverless cars will bring catastrophe（灾难）. The best thing about the automobile age was that it employed tens of millions of people to make market insure and drive vehicles. Over the next 20 years, the mostly low-skilled men who now drive trucks, taxis and buses will see their jobs reduced. Carmakers are especially scared. Is your school good for the environment?
Being green wasn't easy for Kermit the Frog(a famous cartoon character)—but it is for a growing number of schools around the country. A "green" school is an environmentally friendly building that uses less energy by depending on earth's natural resources for heat, light and power. Green schools have clean air, a lot of natural light, and renewable power sources.
New studies show that green schools are not only good for the environment, but good for you too! Kids in classrooms with a lot of daylight scored 25 percent higher on reading and math tests than students who studied in rooms with less natural light. Students in schools with more natural light took three to four fewer sick days than students exposed to artificial classroom lighting. The further study found that those students had less dental decay（龋齿）because they were exposed to more of the vitamin D produced by the sun.
The Willow School in N.J. is a school that was built as a green building in 2002.Parts of the building are made wholly from recycled materials. To help trap heat, for example, building workers filled the walls with material from old blue jeans instead of the traditional insulation（绝缘物）made of chemicals. Every classroom has skylights to allow most sunlight, and solar panels（太阳能电池板）line the south end of the building. It uses about 70 percent less energy than a non-green school. Is your school good for the environment?
Being green wasn't easy for Kermit the Frog(a famous cartoon character)—but it is for a growing number of schools around the country. A "green" school is an environmentally friendly building that uses less energy by depending on earth's natural resources for heat, light and power. Green schools have clean air, a lot of natural light, and renewable power sources.
New studies show that green schools are not only good for the environment, but good for you too! Kids in classrooms with a lot of daylight scored 25 percent higher on reading and math tests than students who studied in rooms with less natural light.
