(1) What kind(s) of ...?意为“什么种类的……?”,用来询问事物的类别。

(2)当一个名词充当定语修饰另一个名词时,起修饰作用的名词通常用其单数形式。如句中的beef and tomato noodles。但man和woman例外,它们作定语修饰另一个名词时应随被修饰名词的单复数形式而作相应的变化。

(1) what size常用来询问产品的规格大小。

可数名词和不可数名词
可数名词:可以计数的名词称为可数名词。一般有单数与复数两种形式,前面可加a, an或数词来修饰。
不可数名词:不可计数的名词称为不可数名 (?http:?/??/?www.21cnjy.com?)词。没有复数形式,前面不能用不定冠词a, an,也不能直接加数词,但可以跟某些量词短语搭配,表示数量。如:a glass of water, two cups of tea, a bowl of rice
名词的数
名词有数的变化,从名词所表示的事物 (?http:?/??/?www.21cnjy.com?)的性质看,可以分为两类:可数名词,如:car汽车,army军队等;不可数名词,如:milk牛奶,water水,love爱等。
1.可数名词
可数名词有单数和复数两种形式。复数名词的变化有规则变化和不规则变化两种。
◆ 规则名词变复数记忆口诀:
(1)名词单数变复数,直接加 -s 占多数;
book-books; pen-pens; apple-apples
(2)s, x, z, ch, sh 来结尾,直接加上 –es;
dress-dresses; box-boxes; buzz-buzzes; watch-watches; brush-brushes
(3)词尾是 f 或 fe,加 -s 之前先变 ve;
leaf- leaves; wife-wives; knife-knives
(4)辅音 + y 在词尾,把 y 变 i 再加 -es;
(study-studies; baby-babies; city-cities)
(5)元音+y在词尾, 只加s就足够
boy – boys ; day – days; monkey – monkeys
(6)词尾字母若是 o,常用三个已足够,
要加 -es 请记好,hero, tomato, potato

(7)其余o结尾的词加s; photo-photos; piano-pianos
◆ 不规则变化
①名词复数的特殊形式。
man - men woman - women foot - feet tooth – teeth mouse - mice child - children deer - deer goose– geese German –Germans
② 单复数形式相同。
如:sheep, deer, fish, Chinese, Japanese
③合成名词,只将其主体词变为复数形式。
如:girl student – girl students pencil-box – pencil-boxes
④由man和woman构成的合成词,全都变成复数。
man doctor – men doctors woman teacher – women teachers
不规则名词变复数记忆口诀:
男人女人 a 变 e,鹅足牙 oo 变 ee;
(man-men; woman-women; goose-geese; foot-feet; tooth-teeth)
老鼠虱子也好记,ous 变 ic;
(mouse-mice; louse-lice)
孩子加上 ren,鱼鹿绵羊不用变
(child-children; fish; deer; sheep)
2.不可数名词
不可数名词一般只有单数形式,没有复数形 (?http:?/??/?www.21cnjy.com?)式。它不能和a或an及数词搭配使用。不可数名词表示数量可以和some, any, little, a little, much, a piece of, a pound of, a cup of, a lot of等连用。

一、be 和have/has在描述人物外貌时的使用
1.描述身高、体重等整体特征时,用系动词be.

2.表示留头发、留胡须时,用动词have/has。

3.表示穿着、戴着(眼镜、帽子)等时用wear
