一、教学设计：
（一）教学目标：
1.语言目标
（1）能够听、 说、 认读单词： sheep， hen， cow， horse。
（2）了解单词 sheep， hen， cow， horse 的复数形式。
（3）能理解句型what are these/those? Are these/those…?
2.语言技能
能用英语句子/What are these/those? Are these/those…? 简单介绍描述本课动物。
3.文化意识
了解不同动物的英文称呼和谈论动物单复数的能力。
4.情感意识
热爱动物，尊重生态规律
5.学习策略
培养学生自主学习和小组合作学习的能力。
（二）教学内容分析：
1.教材内容的地位，作用与意义
本课的内容是PEP教材四年级下册第四单元On the farm的第五课时，学习新单词hen ,horse, cow ,sheep,听说认读句型What are these/those…? Are these/those…? Yes, they are. /No ,they aren’t并在实际中运用。第四单元的教学内容都是围绕“农场”这个主题展开的。本节课为新授课，在三年级时，我们已学习了相关动物的单词，学生对动物单词的学习本就很感兴趣，本课就从他们熟悉的动物歌曲入手，引入新的动物单词，且能使用句型“ what are these/those …?” “ are these/those ….”,在真实的情境中熟练问答。再则，从本单元来说它既是本单元的基本语言内容，又为本单元知识扩展和综合语言运用奠定坚实的基础。，既可让知识学习具有一定的延续性，又可为下面的教学做好铺垫，对完成本单元和今后的英语教学具有重要的意义

本教材遵循认知规律，体现学生学习特点和需要
教学重点：
掌握新单词hen, horse，cow，sheep.
教学难点：
掌握单词的复数形式, 理解句型what are these/those? ，句型are these/those..?，以及回答方式。
（三）教学对象分析：
1.学生已有知识及经验：
学生从三年级开始学习PEP英语，已经具备了一定的口语表达能力。学生在观察能力、思维能力、语言表达能力方面都有了较好的提高，有着强烈的好奇心与动手操作的能力。他们喜欢在自己的探索中获取知识，喜欢在玩中学，喜欢在做中学，喜欢在想中学，喜欢在用中学。
2.学生学习方法和技巧
在多媒体和老师的引导下，通过模仿和反复朗读来加深对单词的记忆，再加上游戏和互动环节操练句子，在句子中掌握牢知识。
3.学生个性发展和群体提高
在学习中，学生的个性得到了张扬，同时也提高了整体对知识的认知。

Step 1Warming up 1.Let’s sing—Old Macdonald had a farm. 2.Let’s Do— Act like animals 通过唱与动物有关的歌曲及做相关肢体动作，调起学生的积极性，为本节课的课堂气氛打下铺垫。
Step 2Presentation 1.以农村开放日作为话题，带领学生开始游览农村认识新动物。 2.播放多媒体上动物的叫声，使用句型 what’s this/that? , 让学生们猜它们分别是什么动物,由此引出新授单词hen,horse,cow,sheep 3.出示卡片，使用句型what are these/those?,学习这些动物单词的复数形式hens,horses,cows,sheep,做到词不离句，句不离词！ 4.播放录音，且老师带读新单词及句型，掌握好语音语调。5.通过展示图片，对易弄混单词加以对重点单词区分及强调。 通过展示动物的不同叫声复习已学过的动物单词，并引出新教授的单词，同时复习已学过的句型，将单词与句型联系在一起，起到新授与复习两不误。
Step 3Drill 1.小组活动---朗读单词(小组读，男女声读，齐读等) 2.游戏环节 （1）猜词活动--- 全班齐读单词，一个学生根据读单词声音的大小判断单词藏在何处。（2）火眼金睛---通过小屏幕上快读闪过的单词，迅速说出它的具体单词形式。 通过小组朗读活动以及游戏环节，反复操练新单词以及单复数运用方式，在学玩的氛围中，起到很好的巩固效果
Step 4Extention 1.Look and Ask---展示卡片，深入引出句型are these…?are those…?以及回答方式 yes,they are. No,they aren’t.在疑问的句型中，再一次巩固新授内容。 2.pair work:两两学生上台进行一问一答，操练句型。 3.习题—复习新单词 4.总结---通过let’s chant,总结今天所学的所有新单词及句型 通过深入展出及做练习题，再一次巩固今天新教授的内容

（五）教学评价
教师就像是导演，而学生就是演员。一部电影是否能成功上演，演员是最重要的成分之一。我们的教学工作也是如此，学生的地位是不可忽视的。在教学工作中，教师要及时反思自己的教态、导入方式等形式，学生是否能接受。同时所运用的教学方法学生是否喜欢，这些都是要及时考虑的问题。
二、教学反思
1.整体评价
我们根据教材特点、学生实际情况以及循序渐进的原则进行优化组合，巧妙地构建了相互独立的各个部分之间的联系，用“farm”这条主线将本单元的单词以及句型串联起来，使整个教学过程浑然一体。每一节课的内容既独立又相互联系，每一节课都是上一节课的衔接与升华，教学过程实施整体教学，注重整体感知，引发学生探究与理解，体现了整体教学由对语言的理解、初步体验，到初步应用，在到巩固运用，最后到综合运用，形成能力的指导思想，真正实现了单元教学目标的整体推进，帮助学生建构整体语言知识。

有些环节的衔接有点混乱，不够清楚明朗。
