Bill has two brothers and a sister. His father always wants them to treat one another with respect.one another 和 each other 的区别
I think music is one way people can get to know each other better.
The husband and wife sat down at the table facing one another.
each other和one another可交互使用。 At four o’clock, Polly left work and stepped out into the fog.
step out 走出去
They step out of the sun into the coolness.
Step out ten feet and then put a mark in the ground. “Sorry, Miss,” replied the man, “the truth is that the fog is too thick for the bus to run that far …”
that far 那么远
I’m sorry. I hadn’t realized the situation was that bad.At last the train arrived at Green Park station.
You must arrive at the airport two hours early.
Flight number BA 4793 will arrive in London at 16.50. 表示“到达” get to = reach = arrive in/at 后面接表示地点的名词。
reach可以接表示地点的副词,如:here, there, home等。 get to后面接这些副词,要去掉to。 arrive in/at后面接地点副词,应去掉in/at。 He reached home at half past eight last night.
=He got there at half past eight last night.
=He arrived there at half past eight last night.
