教学内容：A. Let’s learn& Let’s do
教学目标 ：1. 能够听、说、认读单词tall, short, fat, thin四个形容词,并能在实际生活中正确应用。
2. 能正确的运用形容词描述事物的特征：Look at the… It’s…
3. 听懂Let’s do部分的指令性语言，并根据指令做出相应的动作。
4.让学生懂得爱护动物，保护动物。
教学重点：掌握单词 tall, short, fat, thin。
教学难点：（1）单词thin，short的读音 ；（2）用本节课所学单词描述事物的特征。
教学准备：ppt课件，单词（字母）卡片，自制教具
教学过程：
一、Warming-up
1.Free talk.
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning, Miss Yu.
T: How are you?
Ss: I am fine, thank you. ….
2.Play a game:我会读（设计意图： 教师运用游戏活跃课堂气氛，并让学生复习本课时涉及的字母与其发音，为下面的导入新课做铺垫）
二、Presentation
1．本课时我设计了一个闯关游戏，让学生帮助小鸭子闯进魔法屋。
第一关：I can spell
1、学习be
PPT出示学过的单词he,引出新单词：be[bi:]。以各种方式读。
2、学习fat
（1）出示大肥猫的图片，
T：What’s this？
Ss: It’s a cat.
T: Yes，it’s cat. What is the cat like？
Ss：肥的。
T: Yes. It’s a fat cat .(教师做出胖的动作，教学fat.)
（2）指名读，小声大声读，开火车读。
（3）出示、朗读、表演儿歌Be fat. Be fat. Be fat, fat, fat！
(4)尝试训练句型，Look at the cat. It’s fat.
3、学习tall
(1)PPT出示长颈鹿图，引出tall。
(2)用学过的all引出tall，学习tall的发音，让学生跟读t t t [t] [t] [t]；all all all [?:l] [?:l] [?:l]；tall tall tall. 以各种方式读。 发音知识的拓展：ballfall.
(3)出示、朗读、表演儿歌Be tall. Be tall. Be tall,tall tall！
(4)出示长颈鹿，学生说Look at the giraffe. It’s tall.同时注意纠正giraffe的发音。
4、出示叮当猫的图片教学short。
5、出示瘦猴图片教学thin
6、出示两只猴子，一肥一瘦，训练本课句型：Look at that monkey. It’s fat/thin.
（设计的意图：PPT呈现有趣的phonics学习，吸引了学生的注意力，学生学起来会觉得比较轻松。）
5、PPT出示两幅不同动物的图片，让学生能够运用句型来回答fat和thin.小组互相问和答。 同样的方式，让学生来运用句型来回答tall和short.小组互问互答。
(设计意图：让学生能够通过细心的观察，找出物体的特征，通过运用句型Look at that… It’s …来进行情景对话）
第二关：I can do.
老师放录音，让学生跟读并配上动作。（设计意图：巩固所学习的单词，并能够做动作）
三、Practice
1、第三关：Sharp eyes
眼力大挑战：What’s missing
（设计意图：让学生能够通过练习来进一步巩固今天所学的内容）
2、第四关：Listen and choose
（1）Listen and number. 学生打开课本听录音，给Let’s learn 的词句编号，全班跟读。
（2）做练习：看图，并根据汉语提示填空，选出正确的字母编号。（方法：学生先做后，师生互评。）
四、Consolidation：通过让学生看小鸭子选到的礼物再次训练句型：Look at that …./ It’s ….
五、Summery
出示板书设计让学生知道这节课学的内容，并让学生完成教学评价(设计意图：让学生说出自己今天学到了什么知识，并渗透保护动物的意识。)
六、Homework
1.听录音三遍，跟读两遍
2.跟家人分享今天的收获。
（设计意图：让学生运用英语说自己最喜欢的东西，不同的学生都能有所收获，体验到学习英语的快乐。）
