(1)pick意为“摘,采”。

2. How was your school trip? 你的学校旅行怎么样?
(1)句型“how+be+主语” = What be sth. like ?用于“问……怎么样”。如果后面的主语是单数,就用 is或was+主语;如果后面的主语是复数就用are 或were+主语;如果是过去发生的事情就用过去式;如果是经常性习惯性,或者客观事实就用一般现在时。常用答语有:It is/ was great . 好极了. It is / was OK.还可以. It isn’t/wasn’t good. 不好. All right . 很好。 It is / was not bad . 还不错.等。
【应用】—How ____ your last weekend?上周末过得怎么样?—All right. 很好。
—How _____ your parents?你的父母身体如何?—They are fine.他们很好。
(2)trip 通常指短途旅行、旅游或外出,后面可以接“介词to +地点名词。”
【应用】I’m going to take a two-day _______ Taian.我打算去泰安二日游。
3. And I fed the chickens with my grandpa. 我和我的爷爷一起给小鸡喂食。
句中的fed是动词feed的过去式,意为“喂养;饲养”。表示“给某人/动物喂食物”或“用食物喂某人/动物”常用短语:feed sth. to sb.或feed sb. on sth.。
【应用】Please ______ some grass to the cow.请给牛喂点草。
She ______the baby _____milk. 她用牛奶喂婴儿。
4. But at about two o’clock, it got very cloudy and we worried it would rain.但是在两点左右时,天气变得很阴沉,我们担心会下雨。
(1)get cloudy 变得阴沉 “get”在此处为连系动词。get作连系动词时后常接形容词,表示温度、天气、情绪等的变化。
【应用】The weather ______ today.今天天气变冷了。
(2)worry作动词时,既可作及物动词,也可作不及物动词,意为“(使)烦恼,(使)担心”。表示“为……而担心”用worry about…,也可用be worried about…, 但要注意worried 在这里相当于一个形容词,作表语。【应用】The losing of his books______ him for several days.丢书那件事令他烦恼了好几天。

一般过去时
1.含义
一般过去时表示过去经常发生的动作或存在的状态;常和yesterday昨天;yesterday昨天上午; last night 昨天晚上; last year 去年;last week上周; the day before yesterday 前天;just now 刚才 等时间状语连用。
【应用】He _____ at home yesterday .昨天他在家。
2.句式构成
(1)BE动词的一般过去时句子构成:主系表 (BE :was , were )
【应用】He _____ happy yesterday . 昨天他很高兴。
They ______ handsome at that time.当时他们都很英俊。
(2)There be 句型的一般过去时 (be : was / were )
①肯定句:There be +主语+地点/时间状语
