教学目标:

教学内容:
1.学会运用表示学校生活的词或短语:life, term, start, finish, twice, win, social, myself, sports meet, twice a week/year, long/high jump, be good at, social studies, by oneself。
2.学会谈论学校生活的句型:
—How is the school life going?
—Well,I am a little busy this term.
My school days are very long.
My school subjects are so interesting.
—What subjects do you have?
—I have Chinese, English, math, history and some others.

教学思路:
本课时的教学内容是冀教版七年级英语下册第三单元的第一课时,重点在于引导学生理解语境,从对学校的事提问开始,自然地导入谈论学校生活的话题。以了解詹妮在加拿大的学校生活作为任务引起学生的听说兴趣,训练学生的听力和口语表达能力。利用动作、手势和图片学习英语单词,同时在对话中反复运用新学的单词和短语。因此,教师可以将知识目标定为掌握本课时新出现的词和短语,询问学校生活、学习科目和课后活动等内容及应答的句型。情感目标定为通过话题的学习,培养学生的学习习惯和兴趣,使学生能够用英语询问有关加拿大的学校生活、学习科目和课后活动的事及应答,并能听懂关于谈论学校生活的对话。
教学准备:
设计教学PPT,录音机,多媒体,相应的插图,表示一些活动的实物、图片和单词卡片。
教学过程:
StepⅠ.Lead in
Leading in 【情景1】
Teacher asks the students to ask some questions about Jenny’s school life in Canada.The students who know the answers can answer the questions.If they can’t, the students can show them the answers.
T:Hello,boys and girls.What do you want to know about Jenny’s school life in Canada? You can ask any questions about this subject.
S1:How is Jenny’s school life going?
S2:It’s a little busy.
S3:What subjects does Jenny have?
S4:She has social studies, shop, math, French, English and art.
S5:How many classes does Jenny have every day?
S6:She has six classes every day.
S7:What’s Jenny’s favourite subject?
S8:Her favourite subject is shop.
S9:What did Jenny do last week?
S10:She made a bird house all by herself.

[设计意图] 让学生通过问问题,了解詹妮在加拿大学校的校园生活,同学们对于自己关心的问题提出问题,因此会提高学生们的学习兴趣,能起到很好的导入作用。
Leading in 【情景2】
Group work:Talk about Jenny’s and Wang Mei’s school lives.Say the differences between them.
S1:How many classes does Jenny have every day?
S2:Six classes.
S1:How many classes does Wang Mei have?
S2:She also has six classes.
S1:What subjects does Jenny have?
S2:She has social studies, shop, math, French, English and art.
S1:What subjects does Wang Mei have?
S2:She has Chinese, English, math, history, P.E.and some others.

After a few minutes, ask some groups to make reports in front of the class.
Group 1:Jenny thinks she is a little busy this term.They both think school days are very long.Jenny and Wang Mei both have six classes every weekday.Jenny has social studies, shop, math, French, English and art.Wang Mei has Chinese, English, math, history, P.E.and some others.Wang Mei thinks her school subjects are so interesting.Jenny’s favourite subject is shop.She made a bird house all by herself last week.Wang Mei likes sports.She is good at the long jump.
[设计意图] 小组合作,运用学生所学的知识,从谈论詹妮和王梅的不同的学校生活开始,联系自己的实际学校生活,使课文理解起来更直观、感性、形象。
StepⅡ.Presentation
1.Lead the students to learn new words with objects or pictures.Ask the students to make sentences with the new words.Teacher can ask them questions according to the situations.
S11:What do you think of your school life?
S12:It’s interesting.
S13:When will you finish your homework?
S14:In twenty minutes.

2.Practice the conversations in pairs.Use the sentences in the text.
[设计意图] 两人组合练习之前,让同学们尽量学会生词,增加同学们的词汇量,然后创设情景,使同学们身临其境,激发说的欲望。在练习中巩固本课需要掌握的单词、短语和句型。
Step Ⅲ.Listening
1.Listen to the tape with your book closed and fill in the blanks:

Step Ⅳ.Reading
After listening to the conversations, get the class to read them aloud.

4.Last term I won first place!?
【辨析】 win,beat
(1)win用作动词,意为“赢得,获胜”,过去式为won,win 后接比赛、名次等,不接某人。
Our basketball team won first place.

(2)beat 用作动词,意为“击败,战胜”,后接某人、某校、某团队。
Can I beat him? 我能打败他吗?
5.You’re good at the long jump.?
be good at意为“擅长……,……做得好”,后加名词、代词或动名词作介词宾语。
Danny is good at making donuts.
丹尼擅长做面包圈。
【拓展】 表示这一含义还可用do well in。
Linda is good at English; she doesn’t do well in science.琳达英语学得好。但科学学得不好。
She is good at swimming.
=She does well in swimming.她擅长游泳。
6.Last week,I made a bird house all by myself.?
myself用作代词,意为“我自己”,属于反身代词,与句子主语保持一致,by oneself 意为“单独,独自”。
He learns to cook all by himself.
他学会自己做饭。

Step Ⅴ.Practice
1.Ask the students to read the dialogue in roles.Students read the passage aloud.Focus on the stressed words, pronunciation and intonation.
2.Ask some students to act the dialogue out in front of the class.
3.Ask the students to make sentences with the language points.

4.Ask the students to make similar dialogues and act them out in front of the class.
[设计意图] 模仿对话,编出自己的对话,培养学生运用目标语言进行交际的能力;让同学们用语言点造句,掌握一般现在时、一般过去时和频率副词的用法。
Step Ⅵ.Complete Let’s Do It!
Ask the students to finish Exercise 1 in class.We have finished Exercise 2 in reading part.Ask the students to finish Exercise 3 in class.Check the answers in class.

Work in pairs.Write down your class timetable.Then use it to make up a dialogue.
