还可以说是too…to…
10. that/which 引导定语从句并在从句中作主语,先行词是body bank,故填that或which。纲外词: Mars n.火星
Venus n.金星
Jupiter n.木星

3. A 由空后的信息by spaceship不难得知答案为A。

6. D 与individuals(个人)并列或相对的应是companies(公司)。
7. A 此段落标题是Business and money,仔细斟酌四个答案,选A与标题的money想对应。
8. B 习惯搭配play a more important role in意为“在…… In spite of this they still get sick. However, scientists will have a better understanding of how cancer 8.

Some people may work at home on the Internet…和More people will work in the companies不难得知答案。
14. B 从后面的Some people…More people…
17. A 由下文more people will prefer to live in 14places, under the sea or even on the moon. 故选A。
18. C 由空后的信息under the sea or even on the moon.

He suggests that the city of the future will be a huge, pyramid-shaped building, and the building will contain shops and schools as well as homes. By this time, scientists will have invented a fabric that keeps us cool in hot weather and warm in cold weather. People will be wearing very light, thin clothes.
故选A项。重点词: resource n.资源

Be open to new things, new experiences, new people.(要接受新的事物,新的经历和新的人)。另外,此题易错选B,原因是只看前一句you’ll find cruelty and suffering in your journey through life,句中提到了journey,但是如果此题选B,那么第3题就没得选了。3.

Huge waves are created and spread outwards from the hole. The wall of water, a kilometer high可知答案选D。3. A year later, no more than 10 million people remain alive. 故选A。
最后一段的第一句Could it really happen?

2. A 根据该空后的What ingredients(配料)can we add to make these pancakes even better next time(下次我们可以添加什么配料来让这些薄煎饼更好吃呢)可知与cook有关, 故选A(鼓励孩子跟你一起烹饪)。
4. F 由空后的连续三个问题可知,与F项的ask questions相关,故选F(我们可以在实际生活中这样做,或者就故事中的人物提问)。

I was a previous typist and receiving clerk in an express company. As I couldn’t tolerate typing piles of postage bills and postcodes on a typewriter every day, I resigned. With a greedy motivation of making a big fortune, I took up working as a marketing representative for an ecology company, which mainly sells goods that are produced by recycling useful materials from dustbins. My new company was good for environmental protection and accordingly left me good impressions in many aspects except that the working timetable was full of business travels by jets.At one time, when speeding up in the air, our jet was swallowed by a thunderstorm, which not only destroyed the signal receiver of the jet but also made us lose sight of directions. A constantly flashing light indicated that our jet was in danger. A stewardess instantly ordered us to put on masks and fasten the safety belts, and then he pressed a button to switch on the escaping capsule. The capsules slid sideways out of the opening one by one and landed in a desert safely. Lacking food and tablets, we were nervous and uncertain in the beginning. But gradually the passengers encouraged each other to keep optimistic and make self-adjustment to adapt to the new surroundings. We swept up the surrounding mud to make our settlement and were back on our feet soon.
At last, guided by the smoke of our crashed jet, some local citizens came by carriages and saved us. This experience is just unforgettable to me.
Thank you !
