本课时的教学内容是冀教版七年级英语下册第四单元的第二课时,重点在于引导学生理解语境,从表示学校生活的词开始,自然地导入谈论学校课程的话题。以描述各种类型的俱乐部作为任务引起学生的听说兴趣,训练学生的听力和口语表达能力。利用动作、手势和图片学习英语单词,同时在文章中反复运用新学的单词和短语。因此,教师可以将知识目标定为掌握本课时新出现的词和短语,介绍各种类型的俱乐部的句型。情感目标定为通过话题的学习,培养学生的学习习惯和兴趣,使学生能够用英语讨论各种类型的俱乐部,了解每个俱乐部的优点。

“make friends (with sb.)”意为“(与……)交朋友”,其中的friend通常都用复数形式。

2.Chess challenges you and makes you think hard.?
此句中的makes意为 “使/让……”, 是个使役动词 。“make sb./ sth.+ 动词原形”意为“使某人/某物(做……事)”。

at the same time意为“同时”。
Many stars can sing and dance at the same time.许多明星能唱歌,同时能跳舞。
4.Everyone can enjoy acting.?
enjoy常用作及物动词,意思是“喜欢,乐于,享受……的乐趣”。其用法如下:
(1)enjoy后接名词或代词。
They are enjoying their dinner.
他们在津津有味地吃晚饭。
Do you enjoy the film?
你喜欢这部电影吗?
(2) enjoy后面可接动词的-ing形式。
I enjoy listening to light music.
我喜欢听轻音乐。

(3)enjoy后面可接反身代词(oneself),构成固定搭配enjoy oneself,意为“过得愉快,玩得高兴”,相当于have a good time。

stay in shape意为“保持体形”。

[设计意图]　学生在听了细节之后,朗读巩固,训练学生的语音、语调。让同学们分组找问题,问其他组可以增强同学们细节理解的能力。

1.Retell the story.Work in groups.Show some pictures of different kinds of clubs.Ask the students to retell the text.
Choose the best groups and praise them.
2.Work in groups.Ask the students to say something about their favourite clubs. After a few minutes, ask some groups to make reports in front of the class.
3.Work in groups:Ask the students to make sentences with the language points.Teacher knows whether the students understand the language points from their sentences.
