We are going to pick strawberries and have a picnic.

1.学会运用描述春天的景色和活动的词或短语:everywhere, strawberry, lovely, temperature, again, fresh, house, a lovely season, beautiful flowers, pick strawberries, have a picnic, stay outside。
2.学会使用描述春天的景色和活动的句型:
It’s spring in China now.
It’s a lovely season!

教学思路:
本课时的教学内容是冀教版七年级英语下册第六单元的第六课时,重点在于引导学生理解语境,从表示春天的词开始,自然地导入谈论中国的春天的天气及活动的话题。以了解如何用英语描述春天的天气及活动作为任务引起学生的听说兴趣,训练学生的听力和口语表达能力。利用动作、手势和图片学习英语单词,同时在对话中反复运用新学的单词和短语。因此,教师可以将知识目标定为掌握本课时新出现的词和短语,描述中国的春天的天气情况的句型以及人们在春天进行的活动。情感目标定为通过话题的学习,培养学生的学习习惯和兴趣,使学生能够用英语描述中国的春天的天气、景色和所进行的活动,并能听懂关于在春天进行的活动的对话。和西方国家的天气情况相比,了解中国和一些西方国家春天天气、景色和进行的不同的活动。
教学准备:
设计教学PPT,录音机,多媒体,相应的插图,表示一些活动的实物、图片和单词卡片。

StepⅠ.Lead in
Leading in 【情景1】
Work in groups:Teacher will show some pictures about the spring in China.Ask the students to talk about what’s the weather like in spring and people’s activities in spring.
T:Hello,boys and girls.Let’s work in groups and talk about the habits.
S1:What’s the weather like in spring?
S2:It’s warm and windy.Sometimes it winds strongly.
S1:What do you like to do in spring?
S3:I like to fly kites with my friends.
S1:How do you feel about the season?
S4:It’s green and new.Everyone has a good plan for the new year.
S1:Do you have any plans for the future?
S5:Yes,I do.I will read five good books in the season.

[设计意图] 展示一些中国的春天的图片,小组合作,让同学们谈论他们对于春天的感觉以及所进行的活动。能使同学们了解更多关于春天的景色和活动,同学们能从交谈中了解彼此的爱好。
Leading in 【情景2】
Pair work:Ask the class to work in pairs and talk about some activities in spring.Ask the questions“What do you/does he/she like to do in spring?” and they should respond to those questions.
S1:What is Li Ming doing in the picture?
S2:He is picking strawberries.
S1:What is he doing in the picture?
S2:He is having a picnic with his friends.
S1:Is it rainy in spring?
S2:Yes.Sometimes it rains, but it doesn’t rain heavily.
S1:What do you like to do on a rainy day?
S2:Sometimes I walk in the rain with my friends.Sometimes I read at home.

[设计意图] 运用学生所学的知识,从谈论李明在春天的活动入手,进入谈论学生们在春天喜欢做的活动,运用实物或图片帮助学生学习生词和句型,直观、感性、形象。
StepⅡ.Presentation
1.Lead the students to learn new words with objects or pictures.The new words are everywhere, strawberry, lovely, temperature, again, fresh, house.Ask the students to make sentences with the new words.Teacher can ask them questions according to the situations.
T:Did you find your English book?
S6:No.I found everywhere, but I couldn’t find it anywhere.
T:Now read after me “everywhere”.
S:Everywhere.
T:What are these in the picture?
S7:They are strawberries.
T:Now read after me “strawberry”.
S:Strawberry.

2.Practice the conversations in pairs.Use the sentences in the text.
[设计意图] 两人组合练习之前,让同学们尽量学会生词,增加同学们的词汇量,然后创设情景,使同学们身临其境,激发说的欲望。在练习中巩固本课需要掌握的单词、短语和句型。
Step Ⅲ.Listening
1.Listen to the tape with your book closed and fill in the blanks:

2.Listen and write true(T) or false(F).

3.Ask the students to listen to the tape and try to imitate it. Pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.

Step Ⅳ.Reading
After listening to the conversations, get the class to read them aloud.
1.Read and ask the students to finish Exercise 2 in Let’s Do It.
(1)What is spring like in Li Ming’s city?
(2)Where is Li Ming going with his parents?
(3)What are they doing to do there?
(4)Where is Li Ming’s house?

3.Read and find the key points.
The following language points should be explained.
☆教材解读☆
1.The temperature is not too hot or too cold.?
too修饰形容词或副词,作程度状语时,表示“太……”之意。
He speaks too fast.他讲话太快。
【拓展】 (1)too用于肯定句句末,其前加逗号(口语中可省略逗号),表示“也,还”之意。
I know the answer, too.我也知道这个答案。
(2)too常与much连用构成短语too much,用来修饰不可数名词或单独使用,表示“太多”之意。
There is too much cloud in the sky.
天空中布满了云。
(3) too与to引导的动词不定式短语连用,构成“too…to…”结构,表示“太……以至于不能……”。
I went too late to see him.
我去得太迟以至于没有见到他。
2.The rain and sun make all the trees and grass green again.?
make为使役动词,意为“使得;使……做……”,make+sb./sth.+形容词,表示“让某人/某物怎么样”。
The news makes us excited.
这条新闻让我们很激动。
【拓展】 make的其他用法:
(1)make sb./sth.+do sth.意为“使……做某事”,后跟动词原形。
The teacher made us study hard.
老师让我们努力学习。
(2)make用作动词,意为“做;制造;建造”。
My mother is making dumplings for me.
妈妈正在为我包饺子。
3.Beautiful flowers are everywhere and everything looks new and fresh.?
◆everything意为“一切”,用作不定代词,接单数谓语。
Everything goes well.一切进行顺利。
◆look用作系动词,意为“看上去;看起来”,后接形容词作表语。
Your mom looks very young.
你妈妈看上去非常年轻。
4.Let me show you spring in China.?
let sb.do sth.让某人做某事。let, make, have后跟动词原形作宾语补足语。
David has his son stand for two hours.
大卫让他的儿子站了两个小时。
[设计意图] 学生在听了细节之后,朗读巩固,训练学生的语音、语调;再根据课文内容提出问题,增加学生对课文的理解程度。
Step Ⅴ.Practice
1.Ask the students to read the passage.Students read the passage aloud.Focus on the stressed words, pronunciation and intonation.
2.Ask the students to write a passage about the spring in China.
3.Work in groups.Ask the students to talk about one of their favourite trips in China,including the following questions:
(1)Where did they go?
(2)What did they do?
(3)Who did they go with?

[设计意图] 模仿文章,写关于中国的春天的作文,小组合作,让同学们谈论他们最喜欢的旅游,培养学生运用目标语言进行交际的能力。
Step Ⅵ.Complete Let’s Do It!
Ask the students to listen to the passage and finish Exercise 1.The students have finished Exercise 2 in class.Let the students finish Exercise 3 in class.Check the answers in class.
[设计意图] Let’s Do It!部分中的Exercise 1重点是听力教学,了解课文的基本内容。Exercise 2是根据课文内容回答问题,我们在阅读部分已经完成了。Exercise 3考查同学们对单词的理解程度。

语法精讲
感叹句的用法
  感叹句是用来表示喜、怒、哀、乐等强烈感情的句子。一般说来,感叹句末尾用感叹号,表示强调。英语中感叹句常用what或how引导。
(一)what引导的感叹句
1.What+ a/an +形容词+可数名词单数(+主语+谓语)!
What a cold day it is!多冷的一天呀!
2.What +形容词+可数名词复数(+主语+谓语)!
What good teachers they are!
他们是多好的老师呀!
3.What +形容词+不可数名词(+主语+ 谓语)!
What clean water it is!多干净的水啊!
【注意】 在口语中,后面的主语和谓语往往省略,有时只用一个词或词组。
(二)how引导的感叹句
1.How+形容词+主语+谓语!
How cold it is!今天多冷啊!
2. How +副词+主语+谓语!
How fast he runs!他跑得多快呀!
3.How+主语+谓语!
How I missed you!我多么想你啊!
(三)其他的感叹句
1.一些陈述句、祈使句、疑问句的句尾变感叹号,成为感叹句,也可以表示强烈的感情。
She is too young!她太年轻了!
2.在一个词或词组末尾加感叹号,也可以表示强烈的感情。
