(一)在过去时态中正确运用when与while；
When为从属连词，引导的时间状语从句常选择一般过去时，常用短暂性动词；
While引导的状语从句中，谓语动词常选择过去进行时态，动词为持续性动词。

It was sunny last Sunday. We went to the Yard Sale in Changjiang Community. There were more than 200 people at the Yard Sale. Some were selling their used bikes, toys and clothes. Some were selling cakes , cards and bookmarks made by themselves while others were exchanging their used books. I enjoyed myself and I got my favorite books there.
In my opinion, it is a very good activity. We can make full use of old things,' and we can do something good for our environment as well
