教学思路:
本课时的教学内容是冀教版八年级下册英语第二单元的第三课时,主要涉及园艺的介绍。在授课之前先让学生通过网络或其他媒体了解园艺知识,同时在现实生活中了解一下自己或同学喜欢的花或植物。课上可以通过让学生小组合作的形式进行相互交流;然后教师通过幻灯片、图片向学生展示不同的花草植物,并让学生用英语简单介绍出自己喜欢的花草。

设计教学PPT,录音机,多媒体,图片和单词卡片。

StepⅠ.Lead in
Leading in 【情景1】
Show some pictures about different flowers.Let the students answer the following questions:
T:Hello,boys and girls.What flowers do you like?
S1:Roses.
S2:Lilies.
T:Why do you like them?
S3:They are lovely/beautiful.
Discuss the questions in groups.Ask the students to talk for three minutes.Then let them present their talk in class.

Greet the class.

Ask the students to introduce their favourite plant in class.

【拓展】 含有show 的短语:show off 炫耀; show up 出席;show sb around 带某人参观。
◆all kinds of意思是“各种各样的”,作主语时,谓语动词用复数。
【拓展】 (1)different kinds of 意为“不同种类的”,作主语时,谓语动词用复数。
There are different kinds of flowers in the garden.花园里有不同种类的花。
(2)kind of 常用于口语,表示“有点儿”,后面常接形容词。
I felt kind of sad.我感觉有点伤心。
2.She has lots of good advice for every gardener!?
advice意思是“建议;意见”,是不可数名词。表示“一条建议”用a piece of advice;表示“一些/许多建议”用some/a lot of advice。
【拓展】 advice的常用搭配:give sb some advice=give some advice to sb 给某人一些建议;ask for advice征求意见;follow sb’s advice 接受某人的意见。advice常与介词on搭配,表示关于某方面的建议。

3.First,you have fun working in your garden.?
have fun doing sth意思是 “做……有趣”,fun前可以加一些修饰语,如have a lot of fun doing sth意思是 “做……很有趣”。
We had great fun swimming in the river.
我们在河里游泳,玩得很愉快。
【拓展】 (1)have fun doing sth 的同义短语有:have a great/good/wonderful time doing sth。
She has a great/good/wonderful time listening to the music.她在欣赏音乐,过得很愉悦。
(2)与此结构类似的短语还有:have trouble doing sth 表示“做某事有麻烦”。
We have trouble finishing the homework on time.我们按时完成作业有困难。
4.Roses smell so wonderful.?
smell在此作系动词,意思是“闻起来”,其后常接形容词作表语。还可接介词短语。
It smells like oranges.这闻起来像橙子。
【拓展】 smell也可以作名词,意思是“气味;嗅觉”。
The air was filled with the smell of flowers.空气中弥漫着花香。
