教学思路:
本课时的教学内容是冀教版八年级下册英语第八单元的第二课时,主要涉及介绍环保俱乐部的情况。在授课之前先让学生通过网络查询有关环保俱乐部的知识。课上可以让学生通过小组合作的形式相互交流;教师通过幻灯片、图片向学生展示环保俱乐部的照片,同时告诉学生如何用英语介绍这些环保俱乐部的活动,掌握环保活动,掌握环保的重要性。

设计教学PPT,录音机,多媒体,图片,照片和单词卡片。

Leading in 【情景1】
T:Hello,boys and girls.What do you do when you see somebody throwing garbage?

T:What do you want to do to protect the environment?
S5:I can pick up garbage everywhere.

Show some pictures about activities of environment clubs to the class.Let the students discuss the questions in groups.Then let them present their results in front of the class.

Greet the class.
T:Hello! Boys and girls!

If some students feel the passage is too long,the teacher can divide it into two or three parts.Then ask them to read them in groups.After a while,ask them to read the passage one by one.

1.What do you do when you see somebody throwing garbage on the ground??
句中see 作动词,意思是“看到”,强调结果。它的过去式是saw,过去分词是seen。
He looked out of the window,but he saw nothing.他向窗外看去,但是什么也没看见。
【辨析】 see sb doing sth,see sb do sth
(1)see sb doing sth意思是“看见某人正做某事”,强调动作正在进行。
I saw a girl singing in the classroom at ten o’clock.十点的时候,我看见一个女孩在教室唱歌。
(2)see sb do sth意思是“看见某人做了某事”, 强调动作发生的全过程或者经常性的动作。
He always saw a boy skate last winter.
去年冬天,他总是看见一个男孩滑冰。
2.How much garbage do you throw away after lunch??
句中throw away 是动副短语,意思是“扔掉”,可以接名词或者代词作宾语,如果是名词,放在两词中间或者后面都可以,如果是代词,只能放在两词的中间。
This piece of bread is going bad.You should throw it away.这片面包要发霉了。你应该扔掉它。
You should throw away this piece of bad bread.你应该扔掉这片坏面包。
【拓展】 throw away 还可以表示“浪费掉,错过”。
She threw away the only chance to go to the college.她放弃她唯一一次上大学的机会。
3.Environment clubs encourage students to bring their lunches in reusable bags and dishes.?
句中 encourage 意思是“鼓励”,encourage sb to do sth 则表示“鼓励某人去做某事”,encourage sb in sth 表示“在某方面鼓励某人”。
