T:Do you like reading fables?
Ss:Yes,we do!
T:What fables have you read?
Ss:The Fisher Man and the Golden Fish.
T:Do you think it is important to be honest?Why?
Ss:Yes,I think it is important to be honest.Because if we are honest,the people around us will trust us,but if we are not honest,people won’t trust us even hate us.
T:You are right!Honesty is the best policy,so we should be honest.Now let’s start today’s study:The Fable of the Woodcutter
设计意图:新课开始,教师通过设计几个学生感兴趣的问题导入新课,能调动他们的学习积极性。
环节2
1. Teacher opens the music player and lets the students listen to the Chinese story.
2.Then picks out a few questions to ask the students.After that,writes the words we are going to learn on the blackboard and teaches the students to read them.
3.Give the students five minutes to remember the words.And then the teacher picks out one of them.Let students spell and read them one by one.
4.he students read the text by themselves.Give the students several minutes to remember the text,find out the main phrases and sentences in the text.
5. Read the lesson and answer the questions of Exercise on Page 55.
6.Explain the meaning of the whole text sentence by sentence,help the students remember the main phrases and the main sentences.
7.Do Exercise 3 on Page 55. Then check the answers.
