The dialogues tell us that while digital payments are gaining popularity, traditional cash payments are still in demand, which is the very lesson Hema taught.
The option of cash payments is still being preferred for the following reasons. One is that some tech unfriendly people are used to this traditional system of payment, which they think is easy for them to avoid overspending. Another reason is that alongside the success of digital payments increase cyber-theft risks, leading some payers and payees to cash payments.
As for me, I embrace warmly digital payments all the time. That’s because not only does the
system provide a cost-saving service, but it also provides speed and convenience. So the system deserves further exploring for the benefit of the users. Additionally, security of its use must be guaranteed to appeal to universal preference and acceptance.

Text 1
M: Can I have a large ham and pineapple pizza, please?
W: Sure. Would you like it to be in eight or twelve pieces?
M: Twelve, please. And can you add an order for a Coke?
Text 2
W: It’s so cold outside! Here, put this on. It’ll keep you warm.
M: Thanks. I can’t believe I didn’t bring any warm clothes with me. It’s been so sunny and warm lately. But at least it’s not raining like last week.
Text 3
W: Dad, can I do my homework in Jessica’s house? I’ll be back in time for dinner at 6:00.
M: Don’t forget you have a piano lesson at 5:00, Emily. So you should come back home an hour before the lesson starts.
Text 4
W: Have you ever been to this ice cream shop? There is always a long line outside.
M: I often go when it’s not so busy. Do you have time to try it now? It’s worth the wait.
W: I have a dentist’s appointment in ten minutes, unfortunately.
Text 5
M: Thanks for taking me to this basketball game! I haven’t been here since I was a little kid. Things have changed a lot!
W: Well, tickets have gotten quite expensive now. My boss gave me these. Otherwise, I would have been unable to afford them!
Text 6
W: I’m excited about Career Day today! People who do different jobs are coming to school to talk to us about their work. There will be office workers, teachers, and even lawyers.
M: Oh, yeah. That’ll be interesting.
W: Yes! I’m hoping it will help me decide what career to choose for myself. I still don’t know what I want to do or even what I want to study in college.
M: Don’t worry. I don’t, either. We still have enough time to figure that out! You don’t have to choose now. Just get information and ask for advice.
Text 7
W: So, is this your new place? It looks pretty empty in here. It has only one bed.
M: Yeah, well, the house agent gave us a good deal on the rent. It’s the cheapest place that is close to the university.
W: That’s good. Where are you going to get your furniture?
M: My roommate and I already bought a used TV, a sofa, and some bookshelves from a guy online. We just need to go to his house and pick them up this afternoon.
W: How are you going to move all that stuff here? Does your roommate have a truck?
M: Yes. He’ll be here in about ten minutes.
W: All right. I’ll go buy you some food to put in your refrigerator. Although you moved out from our house, I want you to eat healthily!
Text 8
W: I’m tired. I didn’t sleep much last night.
M: Are you sick? Maybe you should go to the hospital.
W: Oh no, I feel well. I’ve just been having trouble sleeping lately. I feel tired at night. But when my head touches my pillow, I can’t fall asleep.
M: That’s happened to me before. If I have a lot of stress in my life or things on my mind, that keeps me awake.
W: Well, my family are all good, and my work is going well. I don’t think it’s stress.
M: I’ve heard that if you watch TV right before bed or stare at your phone too much, it can affect your sleep. Try doing something relaxing before you go to sleep, like reading or taking a bath.
W: That’s a good idea! I’m usually on my phone before I turn off the light. I’ll try that.
Text 9
W: We have a special guest on our show today—Mr. John Grisham, the famous writer! Thank you for being here, John.
M: You’re welcome. It’s great to be here.
W: John Grisham is one of the most popular and published American writers today. People love his mystery books about crime and the law. He has written almost forty novels and sold almost three hundred million copies of his books around the world! What’s your secret to success, John?
M: Well, I write books that will interest people. People love to solve mysteries and figure out crimes. And I sometimes write about stories that are inspired by true events — although all my books are fiction. I also do a lot of research for my books, so they have information that teaches people things.
W: Wow, that’s great. And you were a lawyer for ten years before being a full-time writer, right?
M: That’s true! I like to write about things I know. And I hope people enjoy my stories.
W: I do! Anyone who doesn’t know your stories should go read them.
Text 10
Good morning, students. As you know, our school needs to expand. The quality of education here could not be better. So our school is becoming popular and attracting more pupils. The equipment we have is fantastic but we need bigger buildings. We considered moving to a different location. We considered knocking down this school and starting again. But in the end, we decided to create extra buildings which can hold more students. There will be a lot of work and it will influence school life for a while. For the next year, the biology and physics laboratories will be closed. Students taking these subjects must take their lessons in the chemistry laboratory until the work is complete. Half of the main hall will be closed off and part of the playgrounds will be closed for safety reasons. There could be a lot of mud and dust while building work takes place over the next year. So please be careful when entering school. I apologize for the problems. But when the work ends, we will have a bigger, better school.
