Lesson 27 What’s your advice?
本课的教学内容是第五单元的第三课时, 这是一节与活动有关的课文。课前先让学生看图回忆做游戏的情况, 课上通过阅读、表演等活动场景让学生学会如何提建议。通过本课的学习可以让学生学会用英语表述做事情的过程, 通过游戏激发学生兴趣的同时, 培养学生们的合作意识, 让他们学会用英语表达建议。

记忆单词advice, spell, number, seventeen, eighteen, opposite短语advice diamond, be nice to。
通过本课学习用英语表达命令与要求。

Step Ⅰ. Lead in
Leading in 【情景1】
Show the students a picture. There is somebody climbing the tree in the picture.
T: Tom likes to play games with his friends after school. He often plays the game called Climbing the tree. He climbs the tree very fast and high. If you are his friend, what advice will you give him?
Ask the students to talk about it in class.
T: What games do you like to play? What’s your advice?
Students discuss in groups.
T: Do you know the game called Advice Diamond?
This game has a Chinese name. It’s called “East-south-west-north”. It gave us many good memories. Danny and Jenny have made advice diamonds. Let’s go and have a look.
[设计意图] 学生们自由讨论, 复习学过的表达建议的句子, 同时为导入新课做铺垫。
Leading in 【情景2】
T: Hello, boys and girls! Would you like to play a game?
Ss: Yes, we like playing games very much.
T: OK. To play the game, we have to make an advice diamond. Now I will show you how to make an advice diamond.
Show the students how to make an advice diamond. After the students finish making their advice diamonds, show them how to use the advice diamond. Then ask them to put the advice diamonds away.
[设计意图] 小组合作一起完成advice diamond的制作。在这一过程中学生边说边写, 在游戏中运用英语, 寓教于乐。

advice是不可数名词, 常用some, much, a little, a piece of等词(组)修饰。give advice to…意为“给……提建议”;表示“一条建议”用a piece of advice。

【拓展】 advise是advice的动词形式。 advise doing sth. 意为“建议做某事”;advise sb. to do sth. 意为“建议某人做某事”。

“make sb. /sth. +adj. ”意为“使某人或某物处于某种状态”。形容词作宾语补足语, 对宾语进行补充说明。能够带宾语补足语的动词有很多, 常见的有make, get, have等。

3. Fast is the opposite of slow. ?
the opposite of…表示“在……的对面;是……的反义词”。
  Big is the opposite of small. 大是小的反义词。

◆be nice to表示“对……友好/亲切的”, 相当于be friendly to或be kind/good to。
◆该句的句式结构为“Always+动词原形+其他”, 为肯定的祈使句, 其否定形式为“Never+动词原形+其他”。
