Lead in by discussing the following question: What does it mean to know yourself? How well do you know yourself? Is it important to choose the right path for your dreams? Why?
Discuss in groups for three minutes. Then let some students present their answers in front of the class.
T:In this lesson Li Ming writes an e-mail to Danny to tell him about his ambitions and dreams. Let’s read and find out what Li Ming’s goals are.

strict是形容词, 表示“严格的, 严厉的”, 常用结构有be strict with sb. (对某人要求严格), be strict in sth. (对某事要求严格)。
