她避而不答他的问题。3. … so that you don’t feel completely
stupid. 这样,你就不会觉得自己很愚蠢。
1) don’t(否定词)和completely(表示 “全部”概念的词)放在一起表示部分 否定。如:
a. All is not gold that glitters.
=Not all that glitters is gold. 发光的并不都是金子。
b. Everybody wouldn’t like it.
=Not everybody would like it. 并不是每个人都会喜欢它。2) so that
a. so that引导结果状语从句时,意为“因
此,所以”。

a. as a result, 意为“因此,结果”,在句中常
作状语。

b. as a result of…由于……的缘故

的名词+that ...引导结果状语从句,
