讲授新课 Pre-task preparationIntroduce some new wordsby showing pictures and ask students to read them together. Introduce two simple sentences such as I see a/an/some/a few/a lot of…I’m on/in the…/I’m riding/taking… Then show the students how to combine the two sentences with “when” and show more examples for students and ask them to make more sentences with provided pictures. 3. Show an incomplete dialogue for the students and ask them to complete the sentences and then practice the dialogue in pairs with provided words, then ask some pairs to share their dialogues. While-task procedureAsk students to listen to the recordings and fill the blank on screen. Check the answers and ask the students to read the text after recordings. Ask the students to read by groups. Ask the students to answer some questions about the text and practice the Q&A in pairs. Post-task activities1. Ask the students to look at the screen and listen to my text about my way to school and ask me questions about the content such as: A. Do you live near or far away from school? B. How long does it take you to go to school? C. How do you go to school? D. What do you see when you are….? 2. Ask the students to think about some sentences to describe their ways to school and practice the dialogue in pairs.
