The trolleybus going along its route on Artyoma street swerved off the road to avoid a crash with a greengrocer’s truck that suddenly stopped in front of it. The road rules require emergency braking in this case, but the driver suddenly moved onto the pavement instead,
hitting a tree and knocking down a man standing nearby.
The pedestrian was dead by the time an ambulance arrived.
