-Today we’ll have a topic about “Teachers”(板书Unit 15 Lesson 3 Teachers) As we know, teachers are very important to a person in learning. What is a good teacher like ? My portrait of a good teacher is one with patience and imagination . Now , I want to introduce my English teacher Mrs. Tan to you.She taught me about 18 years ago .She was a young lady at that time, tall and pretty with big bright eyes.Her English was very good. She had a British accent. She loved teaching and was nice to all her students.She always taught with enthusiasm and asked us to do different kinds of things to make classes more interesting.There was always laughter in her classroom and we all enjoyed her lessons. Under her influence, I became greatly interested in English and finally chose teacher to my career. I often phone her and ask for her opinion. I ‘ll love her forever.Who is you favorite teacher ? Why do you like him or her ? Ok ,that’s all for my introduction . Now I want to ask you some questions . Who is your favorite teacher? And why do you like him or her? I’ll ask some groups to show your preparation and others please take out the learning sheet ,look at the second part , there is an assessment table . when others talk about their teachers , please write down some necessary information and give them an assessment, including enough information , the use of language pronunciation and intonation(声调） cooperation and the total .Are you clear?
