我说的是冀教版八年级英语第四册第三单元第15课The zoo is open,这一课,我将从以下几个方面分析:
一. 教材分析
本单元的主要话题是谈论动物,第十五课主要讲述Danny, Jenny and Brian 去动物园旅行,并为学生提供了英语警示牌的常用语言,这是本单元的重点。通过学习使学生提高保护动物和保护大自然的意识。
二、学生分析
初二年级的学生在学习了一年多的英语之后,对英语的听说读写等基本技能有了一定的掌握。但是学生综合运用语言的能力较弱,应鼓励学生能够运用课堂所学表达自己。本节课的动物话题学生比较熟悉,学生有话可说,所以本节课设计了看警示牌说英语、角色扮演、复述故事等环节。
三、说教学目标
1. 知识目标:掌握本节课的重点词汇和短语:danger, dangerous, mainly, bamboo, giraffe, instead of
2. 能力目标:使学生会读警示牌,能够用英语复述课文。
3. 情感目标:鼓励学生在课堂上用英语表达自己,不要害怕犯错误;告诉学生遵守动物园规则。
四、说教学重、难点

五、说教学方法
第一,五步教学法。本节课是简单地对话课,我采取导入、新授、操练、实践、巩固这五步,教学环节环环相扣以达到本节课的教学目标。
第二,本节课采取多媒体教学辅助法。本节课同过多媒体课件展示一些图片和视频使学生对老师和展示的内容可以更形象的理解。但是一定得强调多媒体只是辅助作用。
六、说教学步骤
Step 1 Lead in (导入)
1. Greeting
2. Watch a video about animals.
T: “What animals can you see?” Ss: panda, giraffe, tiger and so on.
T: Do you want to go to the zoo to see the animals? Today, the zoo is open. Let’s go! But we’ll learn some new words before going.
(通过自然的聊天谈到animals这个话题,再通过视频吸引学生对本节课的兴趣,同时视觉上还可直观了解zoo.)
Step2: Presentation(呈现)
1. New words
Show the new words, ask students to read after the teacher and keep them in mind. Then check it!
(本节课新词不多,我用了最简单的单词教学法,跟读并记忆。但是学单词前我说了这样一句话,But we’ll learn some new words before going.也是为了鼓励学生迅速记忆。)
2. Warning signs
Show the signs at the zoo and ask students to read it.
T: Do you know any other signs?
Ss: no swimming, no parking......
(通过书上的警示牌引入,教学生读认警示牌,并拓展其它在现实生活中可能会遇到的警示牌)
Step3: Listening
Listen to the tape and answer questions.
Listen again and check the answers.
(完成课后第一题,初步了解课文内容。)
Step4: Reading
1. Read and role-play the dialogues.
2. Read and fill in the blanks.
(目的是让学生更深入的了解课文。同时阅读回答问题体我采取了任务型阅读的题型,直击中考。)
Step5: Retell the story
Show some pictures and words to make students to retell the story about Danny, Jenny and Brian’s trip to the zoo.
(鼓励学生用英语复述故事,提高学生综合运用语言能力,同时也突破了难点)
Step6: Language points
Show students two sentences “The zoo is open” and “Maybe the pandas could eat some grass instead of bamboo.”
Then ask them to pay attention to “open” and “instead of”.
Step7: Practice
Do some exercises and check the answers.

Step8: Summary

The topic of this unit is animals. This lesson “The zoo is open” tells a story about Jenny, Danny and Brain’s trip to the zoo. This topic is familiar to students.
II. Analysis of students
Students in Grade8 have mastered some basic English skills. They can express themselves with some simple words and sentences. But some students don’t have confidence.in themselves. So teachers should encourage students to speak more with expressions they learned in class.

1. To make students read warning signs.
2. To make students retell stories in English.

Second, Show pictures without words to make studens say two or two more sentences or just say what they want to say.

Show students two sentences “The zoo is open” and “Maybe the pandas could eat some grass instead of bamboo.”
Then ask them to pay attention to open and instead of.
T: Give sudents some examples to understand the use of “open” and “instead of”.
