Class opening
T: Good morning, class. Would you like to listen to a song? The song I will play is very easy. You can sing along with it and point to your body parts.

T: Is it interesting? Yes. Poor boy! He has to go to see a doctor. When you don't feel well, what do you usually do? (Think About It)
T: Today, your friend Danny has to see a doctor, too. Listen: What's wrong with Danny? (出示课题)

Ⅰ.Pre-reading.
1.Class opening: T: This class we'll continue to learn UNIT1 STAY HEALTHY. We know an old saying "You are what you eat." What does it mean? …It means "Eating healthy food can make us a healthy man." "Good food, good health". ..So, are you a healthy man? Yes? OK, tell us "What foods do you often eat every day?" (帮助学生回忆熟悉的食物单词导入新课.)
Divide the students into two groups. See which group can give the most food words. Then which group is the winner. (第一个小比赛,学生每说出一个食物单词,教师在黑板上画一个花瓣,五个单词一朵小花,既有意思又能快速记数) T: Don't worry. That's not the final result.
T: There are lots of delicious foods. Are they all healthy? Yes, some of them are unhealthy such as coke, hamburgers and other kinds of juice... We should keep away from those unhealthy foods, right? In a word HEALTHY FOOD IS THE MOST IMPORTANT. (正确引导:健康食物是最重要的)

Scientists have learned a lot about the kinds of food people need.They say that there are some kinds of food that people should eat every day. They are

It doesn't matter if a person eats dinner at four o'clock in the afternoon or at eleven o'clock at night. The important thing is what you eat every day.
There are two problems, then, in feeding the large number of people on earth. The first is to find some way to feed the world's population so that no one is hungry. The second is to make sure that people everywhere have the right kinds of food to make them grow to be strong and healthy.

(1)Warming up
If you are a disabled person, what problems will you meet?
Divide the class into groups of three or four. The teacher can design the task for every group.
Group1 lost an arm in an accident. Now what Teaching Difficult Points will you meet?
Group 2 lost a leg in an accident. Now what Teaching Difficult Points will you meet?
Group 3 is deaf.
Group4is blind.
Let the students talk about their problems for five minutes. Then give a report in the class.
(2)Come to "THINK ABOUT IT".
Ask some students to talk about the questions in pairs. Then let some students demonstrate their opinions in class.
We may think if we are disabled, we must be very sad, even we want to die. But we must live for our parents and friends. If they lose us, they will not be happy. Let some students to have a talk about this.

(8)Come to "LET'S DO IT".
Divide the class in groups and discuss the questions. Let them demonstrate their opinions freely. The teacher should help them if they are in trouble. Remember them to think about the problem in right ways.
(9)Summary:
Sometimes in the life we don't feel happy. We even think of death when we have much trouble. Now let's look at these disabled people, although they are disabled, they have a happy life.
