教学设计
课程标准分析:
2018年1月份,国家教育部发布了《普通高中课程方案和英语等学科课程标准(2017年版)》。其基本理念是发展英语学科核心素养,落实立德树人根本任务;构建高中英语共同基础,满足学生个性发展需求;有效设计英语学习活动,着力提高学生学用能力;完善英语课程评价体系,促进核心素养有效形成;注重现代信息技术应用,丰富英语课程资源。高中英语课程的具体目标是培养和发展学生的语言能力、文化品格、思维品质、学习能力等学科素养。本课教材包含阅读、说、写多方面内容,通过学习,可以使学生具有一定的英语语感和语言意识;获得英语语言知识和在具体语境中综合运用已有语言知识的能力。同时,教材中涉及到的野生动物保护内涵可以帮助学生形成正确的价值观和世界观,从而形成良好的品格。本课教材可以让学生梳理概括信息,构建新概念;分析推断信息的逻辑关系;正确评判各种思想观点,创造性表达自己的观点,培养创新思维能力。
教材分析:
本单元的中心话题是“野生动物保护”。涉及的内容包括濒临灭绝的野生动物的生存现状;我们要学会如何保护野生动物以及要从已经灭绝的动物中吸取哪些经验教训从而促使我们保护野生动物的意识。Using Language部分本来包括读、听、说和写。由于课堂时间有限,本节课只包括了读、说和写三个过程。首先安排学生阅读一篇关于恐龙灭绝的小文章,然后引导学生就如何保护野生动物各抒己见,最后落实到笔上,书写一封建议信。这样安排能够打开学生的多种感官通道,使学生更加深刻地意识到恐龙退出历史舞台的悲哀,从而进一步意识到野生动物保护的重要性和紧迫性,进而提出具体的保护行动。在说读写的语言技能训练中,学生不仅学到了语言知识,而且综合运用语言的能力也会得到进一步的加强。
3.学情分析
本节课授课群体为高一上学期的学生。这一年龄段的学生对探索未知世界有着极高的兴趣。好奇心一旦被调动,学习动力就会极大地增强。而且作为青春期的孩子对本课野生动物保护这一话题非常熟悉,充满期待,容易调动学生的学习积极性。
从知识层面看,学生已经学习了本单元warming up,reading以及learning about language 三个部分,了解了部分野生濒危动物的现状以及造成这一现状的原因,掌握了部分关于濒危动物的基本语言知识,因而在学习该部分内容时,比较了解背景知识,在阅读上障碍较小,语言表达也有一定的储备。因此在学习中比较自信。但文中仍有几处短语和长句对于学生的理解上有难度,需要利用上下文语境推断来解决。关于课上的写作练习,学生们经过前期的学习,已经掌握了大量的背景知识,而且经过高一一个学期的学习,学生们的词汇量也有了较大提高,在“说”和“写”这两个环节,虽然学生能够提出一些建议,但受限于表达能力,可能会有一定的困难。需要老师给予词汇以及句式上的帮助。
在思维品质方面,学生有一定的思考能力,但对于深层理解文本内容以及推断信息逻辑关系,还需要进一步提高。
4.教学目标:
学习完本课内容后学生能够做到:
学生能够了解恐龙的出现以及灭绝的基本信息;
学生能够就如何保护野生动物提出具体的建议并用英文表述;
学生能够了解建议信的基本结构;
学生能够树立保护野生动物的意识并积极采取行动。
5.教学重点:
引导学生概括文章大意,获取文章主要信息;
引导学生就野生动物保护这一话题提出自己的建议;
帮助学生了解建议信的基本结构。
教学难点:
如何指导学生有效进行口头以及书面的表达输出;
如何引导学生树立保护野生动物的意识并积极采取行动。
教学策略与学习策略
为了帮助学生树立良好的英语语言意识,本课采用TBL任务教学法,情景教学法以及听说读写整体教学法。当然整堂课以学生为中心,老师为主导,充分发挥学生的主体性和能动性。根据学习任务难易程度分别采用独立学习,结对学习,小组互助学习方式。
教学步骤
Step One: lead-in
Ask students to guess one of the biggest land animals which has disappeared from the earth but always appeared in films such as Jurassic Park.
Purpose (设计意图): to arouse students’ interest in the class and lead to the topic of the reading passage: dinosaurs
Step Two: word bank
Lead students to read the following words and tell their meanings.
Words and phrases: decrease, die out, mercy, contain, affect, bite, come into being, inspect, according to, fierce, incident
Purpose (设计意图): to help students better understand the passage.
Step Three: Read for detailed information
Let students read the passage and try to find out the answers to the following questions.
Questions:
When did dinosaurs live on earth?
When did dinosaurs die out?
How did dinosaurs die out?
Purpose(设计意图): to increase students’ vocabulary and expressions
to help students get a further understanding about the development of dinosaurs.
to train students’ reading skills
Step Four: Speaking
Lead students to brainstorm some of other endangered animals and their present problems. If it is hard for students to list some endangered animals, the teacher may help them and give them some information for reference.

Purpose (设计意图): to help students recall their existing background
Information and be prepared for the next step.
Discussion in pairs.
Ask students to discuss with their deskmates to come up with some methods of protecting the wildlife. 3 minutes for students to prepare.
Purpose (设计意图): by the way of group discussion, students will put forward some suggestions and also develop their cooperative and communicative abilities.
Expressing yourself!
Ask volunteers to show their methods to the whole class. At the same time, the teacher write keys words on the blackboard.
Purpose(设计意图) : to lead students into protecting wildlife;
to train students to solve problems by themselves and strengthen their sense of responsibility;
to train students’ oral ability.
Step five: Writing a letter of suggestions
Let students write a letter of suggestions, based on what the suggestions they have put forward just now. Since time is limited, the structure of the letter including the beginning and ending has been given, the students need to finish the main body of the letter.
Purpose (设计意图): to improve students’ written ability as well as cultivate
students’ awareness of wildlife protection.
Before they begin to write, lead students to brainstorm some useful sentence patterns to give advice. Such as :
why not……? By doing this, ……
Second, it would be a good idea if……

I would like to suggest……
Personally, I think….. It would be wise to ……
Requirements for the writing:

After students finish the writing, ask them to exchange their works with each other. They need to improve each others’ works and choose the best one in their group.

9. 教学反思:本节课的教学内容是高一年级必修二第四单元语言语用部分。语言运用部分本来包括读、听、说和写。由于课堂时间有限,本节课只包括了读、说和写三个过程。首先安排学生阅读一篇关于恐龙灭绝的小文章,寻找关于恐龙的一些关键信息,然后引导学生就如何保护野生动物各抒己见,提出具体的措施,最后要求学生将建议落实到笔上,书写一封建议信。本人在课上合理使用教学媒体辅助课件,极大地激发了学生的学习兴趣,启发学生的积极思维,鼓励学生参与到课堂教学上来。新课程标准提出教师要转变在教学中的角色,不应仅仅是知识的传授者,还应成为学生学习的促进者和指导者,强调学生的主体意识。因此,在设计任务时,我充分考虑到不同学生的基础以及认知规律,任务难度层层递进,针对不同任务选取不同水平的学生参加,让大部分学生在课堂上体验成功的喜悦。通过我的精心设计,课堂顺利开展。完成了预期的目标和任务,但是还存在不足:时间把握的不太好,最后展示环节不够充分;对学生的指导不管全面等等。 我通过这次公开课又一次得到了锻炼,尤其是同行老师及教学专家们的批评指正,使得自己对英语教学又有了新的认识和新的追求。今后,本人要在课堂教学上进一步加强以下几方面:第一,要更为合理地安排设计整节课。要根据现实生活和教材的内容,依据学生已有的经验提出一个具有挑战性的问题,设计一个任务,引导学生去解决问题,完成任务。在解决问题的过程中使学生对新知识的理解、情感、体验等方面有所收获,有所发展。第二,在组织学生交流中要明确任务的布置,使学生能够在交流中体会语言知识,通过交流让学生自己运用语言、自己发现错误,以便获得知识。第三,要加强教学理论的学习,在教学中应将传统与现代有效的结合起来,严格按照《新课标》的要求,认真钻研《考试大纲》,在教学思路和方法上求实、求新、求变。注意指导学生在学习方法上的突破,养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略;培养学生自主学习的能力,拓展视野,为他们的终身学习和发展打下良好的基础。
