always意为 “总是”, 表示动作的重复或状态的延续。
usually意为 “通常”, 表示很少有例外。
often意为 “经常”, 表示动作的重复, 但不如usually
那么频繁, 中间有间断。
sometimes意为 “有时”, 表示动作偶尔发生。
hardly意为 “几乎不”, 常和ever连用表示强调。
never意为 “从未”, 表示一次都没有发生。

2. 频率副词的用法:
常见的频率副词有 always, usually, often, sometimes, hardly ever, never ,对频度副词提问只能用how often (多久一次 )。
表示的频率由 always 向 never 递减。
在句中位于实意动词之前，情态动词、助动词、连系动词之后。但 sometimes 也可在句首。

3. help with housework 帮助做家务
1) help的用法
help当及物动词讲，意思是“帮助”，常用于以下句式：
① help (to) do sth. “帮助干某事”
② help sb. (to) do sth. “帮助某人干某事”
③ help sb. with sth. “在...方面帮助某人”, 与②意思相近。
help常见短语：
with the help of sb. = with one's help “在...的帮助下”
help sb. out “帮助某人摆脱困境（解决问题）”
can't help to do sth. “情不自禁地做某事”
help oneself to sth. “随便自用某物”
2）housework 意为“家务劳动”, 不可数名词。

1. sometimes, adv. “有时”, 对其提问用 how often（多久一次）
Sometimes I work in the day and sometimes at night.
2. some times是名词词组，意为“几次，几倍”。对其提问用
how many times (多少次） ； time “次数”,为可数名词。
I met him some times in the street last month.
The factory is some times larger than that one.

3. sometime是副词, 意为“在某个时候”,“某时”。可指过去或将来的某个时候, 对它提问用when (何时)。
Will you come again sometime next week?
She was there sometime last year.
4. some time是名词词组, 意为 “一段时间”，做时间状语。常与for连用。对它提问用 how long 。
I will stay here for some time.

1. hardly“几乎不, 简直不”, 只是一般的否定副词,相当于
almost not, barely, scarcely,本身具有否定意义,常和can,
could等连用。
e.g. He can hardly speak English.
他不太会说英语。
2. hardly ever “几乎从不；很少”，表示一种否定的频度，
相当于 rarely, seldom, almost never。
e.g. Peter is hardly ever late.
彼得几乎从不迟到。

3. hard 也用副词,意为“努力地、刻苦地”,“猛烈地”。
e.g. He works hard only before exams.
他只在考试前努力学习。
It rained very hard last night.
hard 还可作形容词, 意为“困难的,艰苦的,硬的”。
e.g. the hard wooden floor 硬木地板
a hard task 一项艰巨的任务
George is hard to get along with. 乔治很难相处。
注意：
hardly 不是 hard 添加后缀-ly构成的副词。

6. exercise 的用法
1）exercise 可以做动词，意为“锻炼”。
I exercise every day. 我每天都锻炼。
2）exercise也可以做名词,当“运动、锻炼”讲,为不可数名词，
My father always does exercise. 我爸爸总是做运动。
当“习题、体操”讲, 是可数名词, 常和动词 do 搭配使用，且做“体操”讲时多用复数形式。
We do morning exercises every day. 我们每天都做早操。
3）常用词组：
take/do exercise 做运动；do morning exercises 做早操；
do eye exercises 做眼保健操。
