教学设计
一、教学思路
1.先快速浏览,整体理解语篇,使学生对语篇内容有了初步的理解。
2.再对语篇细节进行理解,通过预设问题检测学生理解程度。
3.帮助学生对语篇结构进行梳理。
4.让学生设想自己就是简.古道尔,设计和童年伙伴之间的对话,练习并展示出来。
总之,课堂设计紧扣教学目标,使学生在阅读方法,和口语表达能力上都有提高。

Tell the students that after this lesson after this lesson, I hope they can know more about Jane Goodall and her career, form their own opinion about being great and be inspired to work harder.
The students get to know what the topic is in this class:

Fast reading
Ask the students skim the whole passage to get the main idea of each paragraph.
The students read fast silently. Then some of them stand up and speak out their answer.
Careful reading
Ask students to read through the passage paragraph by paragraph and finish related exercises.
Check the answers with the class.
The students read very carefully and find out related information.
Analyzing writing structure
Ask the students to choose from three options given to them about the writing structure of the passage.
Help the students know why the writing structure should be like this.
The students answer teacher’s questions orally together.
Discussion and performance
Ask the students to make up a dialogue between Jane and her childhood friend. Then act it out.
The students make up and practice their dialogue.
The students perform their dialogue.
Rethinking profoundly
Invite a student to summarize Jane Goodall’s good quality and introduce his or her opinion about being great.
A student makes presentation.
Homework
Ask the students to write a letter to some young women who want to succeed in Jane Goodall’s tone of voice.
