教学材料分析
本版块呈现的是:Zip在大连得了感冒,Zoom在电话中得知后飞往大连看望Zip。电视中正在播大理的天气预报,Zoom误听为大连会转暖。等Zoom下飞机时,天气寒冷并下着大雨。最后Zoom也感冒了。
本版块所涉及的主要语言目标都是跟天气有关的。其中,句型“What’s the weather like in ...? It’s ... .”以及有关天气的单词或词组都是本单元A、B部分学过的旧知。句型“ Tomorrow will be ... in ... .”、“ It’ll be ... tomorrow in ... .”、“I have a cold.”、“Bless you!” 以及单词“terrible”需要在本节课进行教授。
学情分析
本节课是谈论跟天气有关的内容,学生还是比较感兴趣的,学习积极性也较高。教师应充分利用学生的这一心理特点,让学生在各种形式的活动中习得语言。
教学设计说明
根据教材和学情,我在故事的语境中,从身边的天气说起,由激活旧知出发到教授新知,在教授新知的同时又在滚动复习旧知,层层推进,学生比较容易接受。采取师生、生生互相合作,让学生在愉快的学习氛围中习得和学得,并能在实际生活中运用所学语言。
教学目标定位
1.学生能理解、会说新单词”tomorrow, terrible”以及新句型”I have a cold. Bless you!”
2.学生能理解、会说新句型”Tomorrow will be ... in ... . It’ll be ... tomorrow in ... .”,并能运用句型来描述第二天的天气。 3.学生能理解故事内容。 4.学生能流利朗读故事,并能模仿故事中的语音语调。
5.学生能表演故事。
6.学生能尝试着复述故事内容。 6. 学生通过故事能感受到朋友间要互相关爱以及做事情要细心。

上课前循环播放《Weather monsters》和《How’s the weather》。
Free talk T: Good morning! How are you today? Are you ready for English class? ...
1) T: Before the class, we’ve enjoyed two weather songs. Now, please look and say:
windy, sunny, rainy, cloudy, cold, hot, warm, cool... (带节奏)
通过PPT分个呈现上述单词,让学生快速反应。
2)T: Great! Please look outside, what’s the weather like today?
Is it hot/cold...?...
教师根据学生的回答做出相应的反馈。

学生观看视频,可以跟着说一说、唱一唱。

日常口语交流,让学生在熟悉轻松的氛围中进入英语课堂学习。
旨在激活学生已学的天气单词,为之后的语言输出做准备。同时背景音乐配的是“weather song”,活跃气氛的同时也与此环节内容相呼应。
延伸到现实,让学生说说实际的天气,激活旧知的同时引入新课。

Procedure
1)T:What will the weather be like tomorrow? Let’s listen. PPT: Tomorrow will be ____ in Xiaozhi.
T 教授“tomorrow”及整个句型。
2)T:We can also say “It’ll be warm and cloudy tomorrow in Xiaozhi.
教师带读”It’ll”并示范完整的句子。
3)T: Well, it’ll be warm and cloudy tomorrow in Xiaozhi. How about other places? Let’s go and have a look. PPT presents the rule: 如果句子与图片相符,大声读出句子;如果句子与图片不符,大声说”Ah-ho!”
Picture 1: Tomorrow will be warm and cloudy in Linhai.
Picture 2: Tomorrow will be rainy and cool in Hangzou.
T: People in Hangzhou should take an umbrella when going outside. (PPT presents an umbrella.)
Picture 3: It’ll be cold and snowy tomorrow in Nanjing.
Picture 4: It’ll be warm and cool tomorrow in Shanghai.
Picture 5: It’ll be sunny and hot tomorrow in Hainan.
T: It’s hot, so people in Hainan can wear a T-shirt. (PPT presents a T-shirt.)

T: Can people in Jinan wear a T-shirt?
Picture 7: It’ll be cold and snowy tomorrow in Heilongjaing.
T: People in Heilongjiang should wear warm clothes, or they may have a cold. (PPT presents warm clothes.)

T: Who has a cold? (PPT出现Zip 打喷嚏的图片)
T: Oh, Zip has a cold. (PPT 呈现句型,T 教授。)
T:Zip has a cold because the weather is too cold. So what does the two “cold” mean here? (PPT呈现场景图片及这两句话,让学生感知cold的两个不同含义并选择)
3. 1)T:Poor Zip! What will happen then? Let’s watch carefully. PPT 呈现故事。
2)After watching it, Ss finish the task ”Rearrange the pictures”. Then, check.

1)故事第一部分(图1和2)

b. Let’s imitate.

学生发表观点后,PPT呈现:We should always care about our friends.

2)故事第二部分(图3和4) a. PPT 呈现Zoom一边整理行李一边听天气预报的场景。 T asks Ss to listen together.
文本:Good morning! This is the weather report. It’ll be cloudy and cool tomorrow in Beijing. It’ll be rainy and cold tomorrow in Harbin. Tomorrow will be windy and cool in Lhasa. Tomorrow will be sunny and hot in Hong Kong. Tomorrow will be warm in Dali. Zoom: Oh, it ‘ll be warm tomorrow in Dalian.
b. 教师带上Zoom头饰:Oh, it ‘ll be warm tomorrow in Dalian.
然后教师扮演天气预报员,让几个学生扮演Zoom;再是一个学生扮演Zoom,剩下的学生预报天气。
c. T: Will it be warm tomorrow in Dalian?

T带着学生说一说,并带读”careless”。

句型“Tomorrow will be __ in __.”以及“It’ll be __ tomorrow in__ .”是本课的难点。此处先让学生在具体的语境中习得新句型,学生更易理解。
此处让学生通过看各地天气来操练新句型,既滚动复习了本单元所学的相关天气的词组,又进一步帮助学生理解、会说
”Tomorrow will be ... in ... . It’ll be ... tomorrow in ... .”这两个句型,分化难点,为后面的运用打基础。同时,在这个过程中,教师通过PPT不断让学生感知”cold”的另一个含义。
此处设计承上启下,推进情境。
学生在情境中更好得理解“cold”的两个含义, 突破本课一个难点。
让学生通过看故事视频整体感知故事内容。
此处的设计是为了检测学生是否已掌握故事发生的先后,同时学生在完成图片排序的过程中也是对文本的又一次整体感知。
分片段呈现故事,分化难点。在第一部分让学生带着问题去听,训练听的能力,同时学生在看问题时也能初步了解内容大意。
训练学生的模仿能力及语音语调。
学生在语境中做出自己的猜想推测,训练了思维能力和口头表达能力,同时又自然渗透了朋友间要互相关爱的情感。
句型“Tomorrow will be __ in __.”以及“It’ll be __ tomorrow in__ .”是本课的难点。此处再次让学生在情境中操练,从而让学生学会运用。
此处设计目的在于让学生在角色扮演中,发现Zoom把Dalian和Dali弄混淆了,既训练学生的口头表达能力,又训练学生的观察思考能力。
通过复述,训练概括的能力,同时帮助学生更好得理解故事第二部分的内容,为后面的语言输出做准备。
学生在语境中表达自己的想法,训练了思维能力,同时学生会感受到粗心并不好。
